Michelle Williams dissapointed by flop career

Michelle Williams was "disappointed" with her single 'We Break the Dawn'.

The former Destiny's Child singer admits she was stunned by the poor response to the track - which failed to make the top 40 in the UK singles chart - and her debut solo LP 'Unexpected', which was released last autumn.

She said: "I was disappointed. I worked with some great producers on that song, as I did with all the songs on the album. I really feel my album was able to stand with all the other pop albums that came out in 2008. This was my first one and I just have to keep going to prove I can do this kind of music."

However, the 28-year-old singer says she was pleased with her efforts despite the heavy criticism.

She added to DigitalSpy: "Of course I wanted better sales and to be able to tour, but I was pleased with the reception it got considering it was my very first mainstream pop album. I'm kinda known as a gospel girl, so I think I have to push a little harder to make people believe I can also do pop music. I think the album did well at getting that message across."

While she wants to push her solo career further, Michelle admits she would love to regroup with her former bandmates Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland.

She said: "Would I be up for a reunion? Oh definitely, but one day in the future when everybody's ready to do the group thing again."

Kelly Rowland wanted to bleach skin

KELLY ROWLAND had a difficult time at school because she suffered an "identity crisis" as she was growing up.
The former Destiny's Child star was raised in Houston, Texas and was the only black girl in her class.
The singer admits she found herself longing to fit in with her peers, and even dreamed of lightening her skin colour.
She tells Britain's Heat magazine, "There's so much peer pressure, growing up I had an identity crisis - I went to a school that was predominantly white and I was the only black girl. I remember thinking, 'I don't want to be as dark as I am, I want to be a little fairer. I didn't want to be me."
Rowland credits her bandmate Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles, for helping to restore her confidence.
She says, "She sat me in front of the mirror and said, 'Girl, look at how pretty you are'. She made me feel comfortable in my own skin."
The singer finally shook off her insecurities as she reached adulthood, and the experience encouraged her to work with charities to help young women boost their self-esteem.
She adds, "When I got older, I embraced who I am as a woman. I look in the mirror and I'm like, 'I like Kelly. Kelly's not so bad.'
"I think that it's important to instill that in our girls, to know that they posses something special and that everybody's not supposed to be the same."

Letoya luckett runs into Beyonce at the BET awards

The rumors can finally be put to bed. LeToya Luckett and Beyoncé are cool.

The Destiny’s Child members saw each other for the first time “in years” backstage at Sunday’s BET Awards. There had been rumors that Beyoncé’s father-manager, Mathew Knowles, tried to have LeToya banned from the awards show, but B’s actions spoke differently.

“We did get a chance to see each other backstage and it was really cool, hadn’t seen her in a while,” LeToya told DJ Skee on KIIS FM’s “New Music Show.” “She went out of her way to get around security to basically say, ‘Hey girl.’ It was cool.”

The “Not Anymore” singer said she would love to collaborate with her former bandmate. “I would love to do a song with B. She’s just an amazing person and we already know how talented she is. I don’t even need to go into that.”

Beyonce helps fan with marriage proposal

Singer Beyoncé Knowles has interrupted one of her concerts in order to help a fan to propose to his girlfriend.

The popstar paused during her performance of 'Single Ladies/Put A Ring On It' during a concert in Florida.

The stadium was then plunged into darkness, while Beyoncé said to the crowd: "I need a light... I'm not sure if production knows about this, but Lindell has something he wants to sing."

She then handed her microphone over to the fan, who said: "Beyoncé, you told me if I like it, I need to put a ring on it."

He then got on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend, who accepted to a loud cheer from the audience.

Beyonce to launch ANOTHER fashion line *sigh*

From Just Jared(shout out to EffBey for spotting this)

"Beyonce and her mom Tina Knowles are launching a new junior apparel label, Sasha Fierce for Deréon, reports WWD. Just in time for back-to-school shopping!

The name is a combination of House of Deréon (Beyonce and Tina’s ready-to-wear fashion line) and Beyonce’s alter ego (and third solo album, I Am…Sasha Fierce).

Sasha Fierce for Deréon will include sportswear, outerwear, handbags, footwear, eyewear, lingerie and jewelry."

Leave it to beyonce to take advantage of the youth! She knew they were her only audience left when she lowered the rating of "Obsessed" so she's trying to takeover that market. No sane adult would EVER purchase anything from this tragedy she calls a fashion line.Have they not learned with their other three failure lines? On second thought, this line doesnt appear to look like a 2 year olds art project as the other ones did,so ill give her a pass
