You've Got the Look

Yes! It was a great day to take a quick photo before I left the house to show you guys how I pulled this outfit in literally 5 minutes. And guess what you can do it too!

(by the way, I do not believe in doing the "look for less version" because it never REALLY looks like the real thing. Just keepin' it real."

-So to begin I threw on a plain white v neck tee. This particular one is by LnA $60

-Next I put on my J Brand original jean leggings. In an indigo coloring at $165

-To top it off I chose my favorite Boyfriend Blazer. Jacket by Gemma at $89

-Now time for footwear so I just picked up the 1st thing I was which were by beloved flat, tall boots. Boots by PUMA at $100 (I got them on sale in the spring!!!!)





Onto the Accessories!

-Of course I put on my gorgeous white watch that's very futuristic looking. Watch by Diesel $85

-For my right wrist I wore a black beaded bracelet with the center bead in Pave Crystals. Bracelet by BGBC MAXAZRIA for $36 (but I got lucky and got it on sale for $10 or $15!)

-On the same wrist I wore two idiom bangle. Bangles by Kate Spade for $28 each

-I found this necklace and haven't been able to stop wearing it for a month now. It's absolutely amazing and the pic doesn't do it justice. You can check it out online and it is called the Knotted Gem Lariat Necklace by Urban Outfitters for $28

-For that bad hair day! I love hats love love love hats. So this one is from last year. It's a winter kinda b+w tweed and I can't remember what kind of hat it is but I like it. Hat by PUMA for $36

So in all reality I think that is a supremely cute fall evening night out outfit for a good price. These are ALL BASICS so you should have them in your closets anyways.

LeToya new Movie: "From The Rough"

As we all already know LeToya has landed a role in a new film with Oscar Award nominated actress Taraji P. Henson. It was also revealed a Harry Potter cast member was part of the adventure. We now know that it is Tom Felton. He will be portraying her boyfriend in the film.

It has been reported that Henson and Felton recently signed on for the film, From The Rough. An official announcement has yet to be made.

The Writer of the movie is Mike Critelli and the director is Pierre Bagley. The film is classified in the drama category and is scheduled for a 2011 release.

The story is inspired by the real-life story of Dr. Catana Sparks, the gold coach at Tennessee State University who was the first female head coach of an NCAA Divison I men’s team. Felton, who is best known to audiences as Harry Potter’s nemesis Draco Malfoy, will play a British recruit named Edward (insert Twilight-related pun here). No word yet on what role Chon will play in the film. The film also stars Ving Rhames, and Taraji P. Henson will play the character on who the movie is based. Filming is scheduled to begin in New Orleans in October.

Claude Kelly, the famed songwriter and vocal producer is currently cooking up new stuff with Britney Spears, but he had time to chat with Us Magazine :

US: You worked with Britney Spears on “Circus”. How was that?
CK: Britney Spears was one of my first experiences with how intense the paparazzi are.
US: Oh yeah. Were they hounding outside?
CK: Literally waiting out there hours before she got there. Because the studio’s kind of a secret place where an artist comes to open up their heart and record songs, you don’t want them to feel insecure. It was intense, but when she got in there, all that went away. We did “Circus” and another song called “Shattered Glass”. She is a true professional: she comes in, knows the song beforehand, and just nails it.

The Details About The Britney Episode Of Glee

Britney Spears has always had her share of doubters, but in an upcoming episode that plays homage to the singer, the students of William McKinley High will have her back as they fight for the pop princess, according to castmember Heather Morris.

In an interview with Australian magazine TV Week, the actress dished about the plotline surrounding next week’s “Britney/Brittany” episode and what it was like working with the pop icon.
“Through a special substance, I go under and have a couple of dream sequences — not only myself, but with Santana [Naya Rivera],” Morris explained. “A lot of it has to do with Will [Matthew Morrison] not allowing us to perform Britney Spears songs, because he doesn’t agree with what kind of entertainer she is, so it’s our fight to do Britney. But it’s not just us doing Britney in show choir; there are other sequences — it’s our homage to her.”
In the episode, which airs next Tuesday, viewers might catch a rendition of Spears’ 2003 hit collabo with Madonna “Me Against the Music.” Last month, the singer tweeted on-set photos of her and Morris re-enacting a scene from the girl-on-girl clip. Aside from the Madonna collaboration, ” … Baby One More Time” and “Toxic” are also reported to be part of the episode.
Morris told TV Week she wasn’t nervous to work with the pop star since it wasn’t her first encounter with Spears. “It wasn’t really nerve-racking, because I’ve met her before and I wasn’t really overwhelmed by who she is,” she admitted. “But the idea of what she has given us for the show and, for me, getting to dance with her and play with her on set, I was just staring at her at one point and thinking, ‘This is just so frickin’ awesome.’ ”
While show creator Ryan Murphy has already revealed his admiration for the singer, Morris’ idolization might be a bit more personal. “She was my idol from, like, age 12 to 16,” she told the magazine. “I sang to her [songs] in my living room and danced to her — I learned all her moves. And I had my talent shows and I lip-synched to her. I just kept flashing back to growing up and being obsessed with her.”
The 23-year-old actress might not have been fazed by Spears’ presence, but that wasn’t the case for everyone on set. “It was literally like the president had come,” Murphy previously said. “We all had to wear wristbands. I couldn’t get into my own sets at one point, which I thought was hilarious.”
Mr. Schuester isn’t the only character worried that Spears’ music will wreak havoc on the halls of McKinley High. “Sue Sylvester is of the opinion that Britney Spears is basically the anti-Christ,” Jane Lynch told TV Week of her character. “How does she put it? ‘A pop-culture provocateur and responsible for every out-of-control impulse ever created.’ So she fears that if Britney Spears’ music is played, it will create a sex riot — and it does.”

Cupid's Arrow Struck Me Silly

Did you ever find it really strange that we are all pretty much attracted to the same thing that we found cute in kindergarten? I know my kindergarten crush was possibly the cutest thing you could find but even at that age he had the bad boy/womanizer qualities about him. One week he was my bf and we we're holding hands and showing everyone what this love bug was really about. But.......as the kindergarten rule goes, that only lasted so long. Before I knew it he was holding hands in the playground with the huge tramp in our class! OHH how could he and what did I do. I was totally the cutest in our half day kindergarten and definitely dressed the best by far. Why me!

Well what I found out, not until after college unfortunately, that it wasn't me by any means, it was the icky blah I was always attracted to. Now I still consider myself to have the best in taste, even when it comes to the guy department, but one day 5 years ago my girlfriend Bekah sent me a card. It stated "Maybe this time we'll get over our bad boy phase" Ohh if it was just a phase, what a great thing thing that would be.......but to me it's a curse and instead of getting better it just gets worse. There have been the handful of nice guys that I had dated. The perfect guy, more intelligent than the world, always dressed to impress(well more like dressed to always be able to put on that perfect 1st impression which they are so good at), and so loving and adoring of you that you will feel suffocated even when they are not with you. These are what I call .....well probably the right ones to be with and get married to. If you want an itinerary of what is going to happen to you for the rest of your life.........and if you're looking for trips to Vegas and going to see tons of Burlesque shoes....well hey that's your fault. Now you get to go cook dinner, receive an ohh so NOT naughty piece of lingerie every now and then, a finally a graceful wardrobe filled with Ralph Lauren(and not the pieces you see on Gossip Girl).

Now it seems when it comes to love there is never going to be a win win in this situation. I personally cannot wait to start having children. Or so I always think until I hear one screaming at a restaurant I'm in and I would like to tell the baby off. I have no idea why i just mentioned kids because were going right back to my probs here. Kids would be way too much appreciated by the nice guys that I prefer to steer clear of. Now I am still kinda stuck in Kindergarten when it all comes down to it. I'm still used to be in hot steamy obsessive one of a kind love that usually last around 21 days. The kind that everyone gave up on a while ago. But I still believe. And here is why. I don't want ANYONE to change for me and with that I would NEVER want anybody expect me to change. We all are the way we are for a reason. And another reason why the divorce rate is up. You have to find someone you love from head to toe and never lets you have a moment doubt on why you took this chance. Because love is a chance. And don't you still want to be sooo in love when you are older that you are sitting and a room giggling about how lucky you are to have met this person and have them in your life? Ohh and that's just another thing......if you don't laugh literally 3/4th of the date, please just call it quits.

So I'm guessing my problem isn't that bad by any means. I'm a girl that knows exactly what she wants and although it may be the wrong thing to others, "losers" to snobs, or "Sarah-what in the hell are you doing?" then at least I'll know I'm truly happy. Whether it be forever or for a few months. Let everyone be themselves! Unfortunately that goes out to all you girls who are ALWAYS trying to transform yourself into something your not so you will find a new boyfriend. Ohh and please let them know of your past. Are you going to get married on a huge lie even if you are that much in love with the person. No. Love is truth and if they don't love you for your dreams, your past(who cares how deep you have to dig. That past has actually made you into who you are today, your laugh, and what you want your future to look like....his his.....but the both of you. Everyone is met to find true love and hey I guess I love bad bays haha. I know I'll be happy though just do to the fact that I don't judge people.

The Reason Why "Put It In A Love Song" Aint Coming Out

Well I have been digging around finding out as much information as I can relating to a post I made a few days ago.

This is the info I was sent:

"Alicia's people didnt have 100% belief in the song, Alicia was pushing it more and she wanted Beyonce to be apart of it. Alicia's people still refused, main reason being they thought that it was more of a Beyonce ft Alicia, rather than Alicia being a dominant artist on the track. Basically, next to Beyonce, Alicia was over shadowed. So they canned "Put It In A Love Song" and opted for "Unthinkable" instead. They thought the fans would react better to "Unthinkable" but personally, I think it was a stupid move. "Put It In A Love Song" would have been a huge summer smash and Alicia knows it"

According to another source, Alicia Keys also axed her entire glam squad. “Swizz Beatz is trying to remove anyone from the team that appears to be a threat because of his own insecurities” says the source.

The source also reveals that no one approved of Alicia’s relationship with Swizz Beatz because of the drama and baggage that revolve around the relationship. “Some are questioning his motives“. Case in point, Swizz Beatz pushed for the release of “Put It In A Love Song” featuring Beyonce even though the song received mediocre reviews. He not only produced the song but he co-directed the video. As of right now, the release of the video has been put on hold and they aren’t sure what to do with the video.

Here is how it happened….

I was chillin at work.
Better yet, tired at work, while browsing on the computer.
I had a toothache that kept me up until 5 that morning.
Plus,
my cousin and his friends went back to Barbados and I was semi-depressed.
I had repeated something online for the 50th time and was probably on the way to repeating it for the 51st.
The elevator opened up next to me and out walks Tina Knowles.

Now,
Mrs. Knowles and I go way way back.
Well, not really… she just comes into my job to do business and since I am usually the first person she sees,
we have established a little relationship.

She waved at me and she went her usual direction…. but she was followed by a gorgeous woman.
I only got a glimpse of her, but I knew she was pretty and she had a mean walk.

“Is that Beyoncé?” I asked myself.

They motioned for me to unlock the door and when the pretty gorgeous woman turned around…. It was indeed Beyoncé.

Beyoncé was wearing a skin tite short dress and some sexy leopard skin pumps.

I was so in shock.

Here is a woman that has been a part of my life since her days in Destiny’s Child.
I wasn’t a super fan but I owned her music, been to a concert, and watched her videos.

A gentleman was in front of me,
requesting a page from one of the employees.
The page went something like this:

“HI. GOOD EVENING. THIS IS JUSTIN. CAN ALBERTA ….. (NOT EVEN THE PERSON’S NAME) COME TO THE FRONT. OK. THANKS. BYE.”

Now we arent suppose to even page anyone like that,
but I was so overcome with fear,
I fucked it all up.

Quickly, someone called me from the back:

“OMG did you hear what you just said?”
“I know. Beyoncé just walked in here and I got flustered.”
“WHAT? Which room did she go in?”
“The usual.”
“BYE!”

Here I go,
I see him walk by with two dresses.
LOL (he needed props)

So her bodyguard came off the elevator and he is one big black man.
I was NOT about to get yoked up by him.
Beyoncé and what appeared to be an assistant came out and went to the bathroom.
When she walked by,
I was just staring at her.
She gives off the aura of superstar plus she is so beautiful in person.

Her mother and a co-worker came out and were talking at the elevator and I had a few thoughts in me head:

“Justin. Beyoncé just walked in the DAMN bathroom.”
“Those heels she had on were HOT.”
“She is killing that dress.”
“You could be a pussy today or for once in your life, take a risk.”

So I choose risk.
What was the worst that could happen.

“Hi. *ahem* Hi…. Miss Knowles.” I said outloud towards Tina Knowles.
Everyone looked in my direction.
“Hi…. would it be possible if I took a picture with your daughter?”

It was silence.
Did I fuck up?
Would I be seeing the unemployment line the next day?

She came over to the desk swiftly.

“Well you gotta ask Beyoncé. Not me.”

I said a quick prayer.
I actually had to SPEAK to her.
LOL

So during the short wait,
my supervisor came back from lunch and we were all talking in the lobby.
Mrs. Knowles started showing us pictures of her youth and a picture were she looks like Solange.
She was very pretty when she was younger.

Beyoncé emerged from the bathroom.
She had on a grey shirt, nice form fitting blue jeans, and the same leopard skin pumps.
Mrs. Knowles looked at me and I looked at her.

“Beyoncé….” She asked.
“Huh?” Beyoncé asked, turning around.
“This gentleman would like to ask you something.”

So it was all eyea and ears on me at that point.
So I took my moment.

“Wassup Beyoncé? would it be an inconvenience if I took a picture with you?”

You know I had to keep it professional.

“Sure that would be no problem.” She smiled at me.

I got up and she wanted to take the shot on her good side.
I mean, all sides were his good sides.
I asked Mrs. Knowles if she wanted to be in it, but she declined.
I would have loved that, to be honest.
I gave my camera to my coworker and he snapped the shot.
Went a little something like this:

It was done.

She was looking at me in my eyes as she shook my hands.
Nice soft hands and she smelled so good.
She got into the elevator and that was it.

My day went from bad to better in one hour.

EXCLUSIVE: WTF! Kelly DUMPS 2nd Manager!!!!!!!!

As you all know, the gorgeous Kelly Rowland decided to stand on her own two feet recently and fired long time manager Mathew Knowles, we all breathed a sigh of relief!!! Months of speculation had us guessing who Kelly would take on as her new manager, Jeff Rabhan stepped up to the job. However, on Twitter recently Jeff confirmed that he was no longer working with Kelly and had not done so for some time!

So who is managing Kelly right now? There is no way she is doing this herself considering the extensive promotion trail she is currently on. She has just released two music videos in succession. WTF is going on?!?!?!?
DAMN!! Kelly aint taking NO prisoners this time around. Im scared of Kelly.

Update: "Apparently, it's the same management team...just a different manager. I knew about this a while ago. It's not as big as it's being made out to be. What's more, the change-over happened way BEFORE the US singles fiasco...before 'Commander' actually. That much I know as fact."

BEYONCE's manager/father MATHEW KNOWLES is heading back to school to teach undergraduate students all about life in the entertainment industry.

The mogul, who guided Destiny's Child to chart success and his eldest daughter to solo superstardom, took on a lecturing role at the Texas Southern University School of Communication in Houston last year (09) and he will return to take charge of a weekly class this autumn (10).
He says, "Knowledge and empowerment are two of the greatest gifts one can give.

"The environment at TSU is one of dedication, to excellence and diverse opportunities for its students. I'm honoured to be back to have this opportunity to share my experiences."

Knowles earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1974. In 2008, he was honoured with a Doctor of Humane Letters by his alma mater.

Ok so basically this will be Mathew's lecture on how to be successful in the Entertainment Business:

1. Get a four piece group and make your daughter the star
2. Make all the other girls tan and put lots of pale make up on your daughter so she stands out

3. Hire your whole family, nephews, nieces, wife as makeup artists, PA's, tour managers. Blood is always thicker than water
4. If anyone acts up. Fire them, as long as your daughter remains who gives a shit
5. Lie, Lie and Lie again. Could be about anything... song writing abilities, producing etc etc

Gossip Girl is back and ready for another dramatic season. Don't worry no secrets will be told for I am still catching up on my final disc of season 3. With season 4 just beginning, I wonder what kind of fashion crusade they will send at us this year? Since the 1st episode of season one with flashbacks of the "it" girls sitting on the steps of The Met eating their yogurt before class, completely dolled up from head to toe in designer goods and the "it" bag of the moment, Gossip Girl has basically taken over in the fashion glory that once belongs to SATC. (nothing can come near Carrie but you get my drift.) Let's go over a few looks, and no I do not do 'looks for less' because everyone knows nothing really fits or feels like the real thing so why bother trying. Who are your best dressed from the show? Are you an S or a B fan? A Chuck or a Nate lover? Really NO ONE can compete with eachother considering they all have BEAUTIFUL pieces to fit their character and the FABULOUS stylist, Eric Daman, helping them key button some of the beautiful vintage pieces you've been seeing. My true fashion love is Blair Waldorf.(I bet a lot of you would have guess Serena but nope....I am all about the puffy sleeves, lace, decadent fabrics, and loads and loads of ruffles. All of which Miss B does best! LEARN it and LOVE it people!

Blair Waldorf is played by actress Leighton Meester and she is my personal favorite fashionista on the show. Blair dresses unlike any other and wear top of the line signature couture pieces that she is basically given by, due to her mothers business, or with one of her 10 black cards she owns. 1st dress that I had a meltdown over was Blair's 17th Birthday Party dress from Season 2. *Pictured Above
