Britney reunites with Dr. Luke & Benny Blanco for new album

The Prophet Blog can exclusively reveal that Britney will be reuniting with producers Dr. Luke and Benny Blanco on her upcoming seventh album. The exact details of the collaboration aren’t known yet, but I hear that Luke is “excited” to be working with the pop princess again.

Luke & Benny both contributed to Britney’s last album Circus, writing and producing the title track, as well as the album cuts “Lace & Leather” and “Shattered Glass”. The pair have since gone on to craft chart topping hits for Katy Perry (“California Gurls”, “Teenage Dream”), Ke$ha (“TiK ToK” and “Your Love is My Drug”) and many others.
Britney is currently on vacation in Hawaii with her beau Jason Trawick, which is exactly what she did right before her Circus album era began. No release date for the album has been announced yet, but all signs are currently pointing towards the end of the year.

Baby We Were Born to Run

It was the night of the Emmy's in my soon to be new home! The fashion was fab and temperature was hot. Let's take a look at my favorite cast of Glee(which may I mention was nominated an outstanding 18 noms, January Jones, and umm yeah that's pretty much who I liked haha. I'm VERY picky.

Let's start off with my girl Lea Michelle, aka, Rachel Berry from Glee. Were starting with her because she was my favorite by far. She rocked out the navy(always been my favorite color to do a great look with), organza tulle(my favorite fabric), ruffles(I have ruffles on everything. I can't live without them), and Oscar de la Renta. Add those 4 things together and you are probably going to get an amazing dress and screams my name. And She did! Stunning!!!!! Look at the top of the dress as well. See that beautiful intertwining sweetheart neckline. And the fabric ohhhh it's just heavenly. As soon as I saw her I screamed "OMG did you see that ruffle starting at the butt with the dress in complete Organza Tulle!" My family thinks I am nuts and I sure am when it comes to fashion. So take a GOOD look at Lea and remember this dress because this is simple perfection.

Perfection! LOVE!

Moving on to one of the hottest men alive in my eyes(we all know my type. dark skinned, dark eyes, and HOT HOT HOT!) This equals Mark Salling. Isn't he just a doll! He's even better when he is rocking his Mohawk that he grows for filming season of Glee. And he plays the guitar. And.....I could go on and on but I'll stop. Okay just look don't touch!

Jayma Mays, aka, Emma from Glee was actually the 1st person I saw and started jumping up and down(yes I do this when I see a fabulous dress). Gorgeous, stunning, flawless! She totally rocked it in her Navy, ruched with dramatic ribbon accented gown done by Burberry's Prorsum Collection. If you don't know about this line, get to know. It's the runway collection for Burberry and every piece is outstanding and unlike any other line. 1000 thumbs up!

Now this is my last but always my favorite girl at the Emmy's, January Jones. I won't say that I liked this dress over last years, but it is runway futuristic glamor. It's to die basically. Done by versace and in a bright metallic blue. I love. But her look for the Golden Globes this year is actually one of my favorite looks done by anyone who has walked the red carpet. She did a Black Lanvin dress with a Satin Black Headpiece/Wrap. 1st off, Lanvin, almost always does all my favorite dresses recently so it's not a suprise to me that I love this. But it's also just absolutely freaking gorgeous, sleek, perfection. She has a perfect body for clothes so everything looks pretty glam on her! LOVEEEE!

*Not to go unnoticed ......Kim Kardashian you looked so pretty and chose the perfect gown for your figure, Guiliana I think I would have picked differently for your body type, and Dianna Argon....you're so stunning nothing can really make you look bad. I wasn't in love with your dress just because I'm not a lace person but I did love the mauve and black together and you're just adorable!

Another Day, Another Drama

There was some great stuff I missed out on this week while I was just "living the dream" (please enter sarcastic crack in voice), so let's catch up!

1. Kanye and Jay-Z putting out a 5 track album together. Pretty tight! I do think though that Kanye neds to chills with the use of his facebook and twitter account. I mean I didn't even remember that I was a fan of Kanye(of course I am but he was mia for so long that he definitely wasn't popping up on my news feed every minute with notes he writes and new blogs he's posting.) Aside from that though, Mr, West tweeted "Me and jay bout to drop a 5 song album called Watch the Throne." Awesome. I'm sure we'll all be getting it and I'm pumped for some new Kanye but just to take it back for a sec when Kayne didn't write so many well proposed blogs:
Kanye Does Not Apologize For Wearing Fur: In a since-deleted post, Kanye went once more into the blog breach, giving PETA the bird and generally saying "haters to the left" to anyone else who had a problem with he and girlfriend Amber Rose rocking fur at Fashion Week.
2. September 10th you're butt better be out getting my girl Taylor Momsan's band "The Pretty Reckless", 1st full album. According to Perez Hilton, who usually is negative about Taylor(basically because she's awesome and rocks), but gave her album amazing reviews and addmitted that the girl was damn talented. And my favorite fashionista!

3. Supposedly Heidi Montag has to wear nose tape so her nose doesn't fall off. Heidi's plastic surgeon recently passed away(prob shot for a bad boob job or something), and now she says she will forever wear tape on her nose. That's soo freakin' cool. Such a trendsetter. On other news(mtv.com): Spencer Pratt, who is threatening to release the footage if Heidi doesn't try to reconcile with him, seems really proud of the scandal he's drummed up. He tweeted that the hot 'n' heavy vid is going to be his claim to famedom (dude expects his camerawork to be as meaningful as Picasso's art!). Meanwhile, Spencer's co-star in the film has been hiding out in Costa Rica while simultaneously being courted by her estranged hubby. Thankfully Heidi's former bestie Jen Bunney, who she dumped back in June, is on her way to save the day. Or something.

Ohh and I guess Kristin Cavalari never went to Europe(obviously) but she just tweeted that to Audrina so everyone would know it was fake. WTF am I writing about right now. This Hills?! Am I serous??? Moving on!

4. Britney Spears has been spotted wearing bikini's EVERYWHERE. Supposedly this is a big deal because, no lie, it did come up when my yahoo news homepage came up today. Wow.

5. Snooki's(the 4'5'' chick from jerz) bf is trying to reenact Eminem's track "Spacebound" by actually following the lyrics advise and "And before I put that gun to my temple
" but instead he put it up to his ex gf's head. he received a restraining order cause that's definitely all the punishment you should get for that. And that dumb jersey girl is still dating this person? I had a guy try to take my phone away from me and that's when I peace the f out. If I had a bf own a gun, 1st off, then put it up to his ex's head, man I would be the one getting restraining orders. NOT COOL PEOPLE! And P.S. I don't watch that show anymore but I keep reading that last nights was like intense so if you know what went down please fill me in! Thanks!

6. Actress Lindsay Lohan is fresh out of rehab and back on Twitter. Lohan was released early from a substance abuse program at the UCLA Medical Center on Tuesday, following 14 days in jail. The actress was not allowed to tweet the entire time she was in jail or in rehab. Her last tweet was posted July 19, just hours before she entered jail. Umm yeah guess that's what's truely important here that she can tweet again. Yep....totally.
Peace out painkillers, trazadone(still don't understand why that had to go), adderall(aka what is now called legalized meth), and her prozac. That's my old list of scripts so I feel ya Linds. Taking away yur prozac and traz should not have been permitted though! BTW LOVE the FU nails! *photographed above.

Thanks all for today kids. Hey and if you have gossip go ahead and send it my way because I'm a loser and don't read this shit anymore or watch it, but now that I just wrote all that crap out I totally see why I quit, send it off my way!

How in the f*ck Can I Mix with the Inglewood?!

*Please do not use this as reference to actual statistics or prevalence of gang violence. This is just me going back in time and explaining what I saw that you may have have not.

As I am rummaging through some great classic hip hip rappers of our time and being goofy picking out new tees for my friend Chris and I, I started to recall the day when these rappers weren't just amazing artists but also the start of a horrible war between two sides of the country. Most of you kids my age, who had real perfect pretty lives in the suburbs weren't affected, but us city kids saw it all right in front of out eyes laid out daily.(that statement was used to REALLY dramatise the effects and lines between city and suburb haha) We had friends in both gangs and watched our friends and colleges promote violence, not love. Today violence is still very prevalent but gang violence in the early 90's was at it's peak with two very large groups with members equaling each over 35,000; The Crips & The Bloods.

Growing up in the city is different then growing up in a suburbs in many ways. Pittsburgh, for example, is where I grew up. Within Pittsburgh there are a ton of inner city neighborhoods. With the school district there were many different inner city schools. Just for example.....I think when I was in high school, I pretty much had the option of going to 9 different schools? That sound right? But the time I would like to talk about is '93-'96. These were my middle school years. And these were also the hype years of Death Row Records, home to Cali's finest including Dr. Dre(The Cronic, 1992), Tupac, Snoop Dogg, and Suge Knight. Now on the other side of the country you had, I wanna say Tommy Boy Records or maybe it was already bad Boy Entertainment ran by Diddy??? which is prob wrong so don't quote me on that, reppin' NYC's best including The Notorious B.I.G., Wu Tang Clan, and Nas. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_Row_Records

That gives you all the info you'll need right there on who repped who and who switched and all that. "Death Row is the label that pays me" is still something you'll hear on my personal BEST RAP ALBUM EVER PRODUCED-The Cronic 2001. But let's get back to the main area that I'm trying to explain here; Inner city Pittsburgh, PA.

I lived in the North. My middle school was in the Hill District(right?), and Capa was in Homewood(right?. Or maybe switch those around but anyways let's go with the Hill District and it being Blood territory. Now although there were Bloods that attended Rogers School for the Creative and Performing Arts, there were also members of the Crips that were bussed in from different parts of the city in the north. At school everything was cool, from what I remember, but it was after school or in 8th period where things would start to get crazy.

It was a daily thing that occurred everyday around 3pm. I actually had a class at the end of the school which faced the main street where Bloods would begin to attack our classroom by throwing bricks at the gated up windows that led into my classroom. It didn't phase us at all but I think sometimes it would get rowdy with there's in the class trying to fight from inside the classroom(usually members of the crips). But like I stated earlier, there were no dividers in the school I don't believe. I know I had friends and acquaintances in both gangs. As did most. But it was the mission of getting the kids from the north onto their bus after school safely that became an issue. And of course I just had to live in the North. Now I'm just going to tell the scariest time that I can remember then let this go but I just wanted ya'll to get a feeling of what, when this fight between these two groups, basically led by the best of the best hip hop moguls, affected my daily life just in Pittsburgh, PA. I cannot even imagine what it would have been like to live in LA and NYC. Sometimes our bus would be shook so hard our backpacks would start falling and the protocol was to get underneath the seat in front of you. Bricks would be thrown, windows would be broken, and it was over all just NOT COOL. I totally believe in people believing in something but I am not a believer of gang violence from having to experience it hands on. And there I was this little rocker chick with my green hair and smashing pumpkins tee and neon orange fishnets. I do want to make this clear though.....yeah sure my parents could have yanked me out, sent me off to private school, and taken me out of a program I loved, but they didn't even though at times they often wanted to. I was safe in school though and even though we had some crazy times, overall we were all VERY safe and protected from the activity outside of us.

If you were to ask me today if growing up then, and being around that, or growing up today and being around what goes on today in school......I would hands down and say 'give me my hip hop old school crips and bloods gang violence any day. Now all I see is worse violence that's not even based around a belief (those crips and bloods had reasons and meanings to be doing what they were doing and they had music involved as well. I'm not saying it was okay but they had a mission and it was a horrible mission which left 2 genius rap moguls dead, but whatever it was they didn't mess with just anybody.) Today kids are shooting kids for absolutely no reason, little girls are pregnant, boys are taught it's ok to abuse girls, and kids are drinking and taking drugs at an alarming young age. It's disgusting and yes it does make me question if I want kids growing up in this country in this age. I really couldn't tell you? It's way worse off now. As for the Crips and the Bloods.......I wouldn't have had my experience with the whole thing any other way. RIP 2pac and Biggie. You left music behind that will NEVER be forgotten. Kids of this era......what the hell do you have to leave behind?

Peace & Love,
S

Save Those Kisses! Eyelash Wishes!

Sorry boys but this ones for all my chicas out there who love and adore have long, thick, beautiful, breathtaking eyelashes. I've said before that I only trust my lashes to Dior and that is still extremely true. I am very lucky and have big brown eyes that can handle that daring larger Dior Show wand. But now.....maybe some of you others girls can choose Dior too!

Today at Sephora I walked right in and discovered a whole table just dedicated to my love, Dior Show. Now if you have never tried Dior Show I will give a little description; Dior Show is the best lengthening and thickening mascara in the business. This isn't only my opinion, but a ton of others. Everyone pretty much gets hooked on it and it literally(if you have a good nice set of long lashes yourself as well), the look of thick luscious long long lashes. You'll get asked a lot if they are fake.($24) It's just that good. Now, I use Dior Show on it's own......until now.

This August Dior release two new mascaras and if you combine the 3 I guess you should be looking like you're wearing Kim Kardashians fakes! Of course nothing beat a good application on individual lashes done by a professional. You can rock those alone with no make up and be ready to go(only reason why I still walk in fashion shows. I love getting the individual lashes.) But with the Dior Show, Dior Extase, and Diorshow Maximizer......you should get pretty close.

Dior Extase-It's a flash pumping mascara. In the blink of an eye, discover the ecstasy of spectacularly full lashes. With a exclusive Couture-designed brush, Dior Extase creates an instant false-lash look with a single coat.($28)

Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum-This is the primer which you use and your 1st coat before your other Dior's. It's an incredibly plumping lash shaper. Lashes are instantly curled, thickened, and lengthened. The perfect prep to amplify and optimize mascara. **Proven Results-visibly lengthens lashes and up to twice as much volume.($28)

Sounds pretty amazing huh? Well I am about to hop in the shower and try this out and let you know. But I can tell you this much without even having to try.....You can't go wrong with the Dior mascaras. The line also has mascaras in Blackout and Iconic. It's up to you. My advise is to try them all. All Dior counters and Sephoras gladly except returns of products that you tried out but didn't really work out for you. That's the best part. So go on and get Dior crazy! Results coming up soon loves.......

Ohh and don't forget to always curl your lashes before you begin. It's key. Shu Uemura last curler is my favorite and is available to Sephora($19).

Peace & Love
S

RESULTS
I used the serum on both eyes then did the right eye with the New Dior Extase and the left eye with my beloved classic Dior Show. End result: The DiorShow Lash Plumping Maximizer Serum is beyond fabulous. I LOVE it. I use it underneath my mascara as well as at night before I go bed bed on my lashes alone to help thicken and strengthen them through the night. It's a definite must have and I promise you, you will be 100% satisfied. As for the Dior Extase, I personally did not enjoy it as much as I do my DiorShow. The brush is amazing with the 3 larger bumps that help you really get in there but the formula was a tad too clumpy for me. Now I do STRONGLY suggest trying it because everyone is different and I talked to someone who absolutely loves it much better then they do DiorShow. But for me It's the Maximizing Serum and the Show. I hope you all enjoy trying these products and this review. Muah!
