Got Your Hand With That Designer Love

I have always been a huge fan of the fashion house known as Azzedine Alaia, who became famous with his work in the 1980's. While on Melrose on day I stopped into a tiny boutique called Resurrection. The amazing vintage store holds the things you can only dream of. A huge Chanel charm bracelet, a teeny chiffon gown with butterfly sleeves by Halston, a backless Valentino gown, and Balenciaga sunglasses from the 1980's. Resurrection has two locations, one in NYC and one here in Los Angeles. I was soo intrigued by the boutique I just had to ask the stylist about some of the uses and places these vintage pieces were used. The boutique is a personal stylist heaven for red carpet events and editorials. So a lot of those to die for red carpet vintage pieces we see all the lovely actresses wearing most likely were pulled from this establishment. They recently used pieces from Resurrection for a layout in in Glamor with a very famous singer and who else was she wearing but Azzedine Alaia! Ohh and don't forget but in case you forgot we were all introduced to Alaia from the classic movie Clueless! When Cher is robbed in the Vally she is forced to get on the ground and screams "But this is an Alaia!!!"

Below are some of my favorite pieces. Hope you enjoy!

We Had Found It. Fake Fendi Paradise.

I have confession and I am dying to share it. I've been doing it for six years and I think it's time I came clean. when I see a bag that I love and cannot live without I first ask to try it on then examine the bags insides(that's what really matters) and do a little quick estimation of the measurements. I then look at the price tag. Ahh $2,400 again! Why, why, why does this keep happening to me? It's called expensive taste and well there's nothing I can do about that. The smell, and gorgeous soft lambskin, the stunning hardware......I just fiend for it. I HAVE to have it. So here's what I have been keeping from most of you-besides by friends of course-I have a handful of fake bags. Can you tell? Absolutely not. There is an art to getting a good fake and it especially does NOT involve a trip to Canal Street. It involves precise information, measurements, serial numbers, color of lining, and of course making sure the outside of the bag has the correct color, layers, and precise placement of label if there is one. I'm going to show you some of my favorite bags. Some I have, some I do not. I am ONLY showing you the fake ones and helping you do what I have a great talent in doing; Being able to get a fake that looks even better than the real. It takes practice but I promise you can do it too and I am here to help! It's also important that you have a couple REAL bags in your collection too. You don't want to look like a fake bag only kinda girl! I can never tell my reals from my fakes so believe me I sure do know what I am going here.

Let's being with my 1st love and my 1st fake purchase. The Balenciaga. After doing tons of research and getting everything right I soon received my favorite bag I have ever bought(it really is and I still wear it constantly up until today!). My Red large motorcycle de lix. I purchased in February of 2005. These beautiful pieces of art fun anywhere from around $1,400-$2,300. Mine? $276

After I fell in love even more after I purchased the Red one I later went on and by the fall I had the bag in a large White and a medium Deep Blue.

Now onto the Valentino's. I hadn't thought much about Valentino's until we received a small collection in my Nordstrom. I instantly was blown away as soon as I put this patent leather Red bow clutch in my hand one day. It's been love ever since
. I do not currently have a Valentino but it's on my "to get next" list. Enjoy the beauty below.

Onto a bag that I just HAD TO HAVE. I have a fairy obsession and I think I saw this in person at my Sak's a long long time ago and just KNEW instantly it had to be mine. I got all the information about the Prada and took a photograph in my head. later on that night the bag was being ordered through my favorite site in Sept. of '07. It's a magical bag and I'm sure most of you have seen it with my in my photos because I use it like it's going out of style!

Now not only do I love my fairy bag but there are a few others by Prada that are to die and on my list to get get soon! Enjoy.

Ohh soo pretty......Moving on though. This next bag I had just purchased. We have a store here in Pittsburgh, PA that surprisingly carries Givenchy bags. One time while I was at Burberry I saw the most interesting bag that looked like the leather was just about to melt into butter it was so subtle. I asked where she had had gotten the bag and who it was by and she told me it was Givenchy and from then on I wanted a Givenchy like no tomorrow. As you can see my most of my choices here, there is nothing i hate more than labels all over your bag. If you have a nice bag believe me people can tell. There is no need to stamp CD or LV or the Gucci label all over it. It's tacky and gross. So I just bought this and am expecting it any day now. The photo is in the pebble leather but I ordered in in lambskin. Perfect everyday huge black bag! I got it for $180 instead of the $2,200 it goes for.

I just want to show you these because they are just fabulous and my Chloe wallet that i have been using for 6 years really needs a replacement so I decided the new Tory Burch continental wallet was the way to go. I was going to just spend the $200 and get it directly from Tory Burch but then while looking on my site I found the wallet ranging from $35-$85 plus shipping. Total score. Don't you just love???

I'm still in the mist of the Neon Orange or the beautiful shade of Blue. What do you guys think?

Okay now here is what you have all been waiting for. My special websites that I know do a great job and are sent to you directly from lovely China where this is what they do for a living. Every stitch is in it's place and the leather is to die. I haven't ever received something that was not perfect so that's why I think you all should know about this. The key though is to get the higher price point. If you see the bag selling for $125 by one seller and $205 from another seller, believe me there is a reason. Spend that extra money and get the better quality. Here are my two favorite links:

http://www.ioffer.com/ & www.dforeplicahandbags.com/

All Balenciaga's please purchase through the DFO site. He is amazing and yes they do cost around $200-$300+ they are worth every penny. For everything else try ioffer. So many sellers! See who you like and like I said NEVER get the cheap stuff. You'll want to throw it away anyways so put the money into it. Owning a mixture of fake and real bags, I believe is the way to go. If you have any questions at all on how to get the measurements, see the inside of the real, or just anything at all.....please message me!

Peace & Balenciaga, Prada, Valentino, Givenchy, and Tory

Chanel No. 9 Running Through My Veins

This one goes out to all the boys and men out there that aren't gay. You have no idea how to shop. Gay boys you may skip this blog because I mean well you do have better style then most of us.......okay all of us!

When guys think of gifts.....especially large gifts they want to get for there girlfriends or wives then think logically and use that good old rational right side of the brain. Diamond necklace, Louis Vuitton Bag(barf), or you call your buddies who are just as bad as you unless you work in the theatre and arts, and they tell you "yeah buddy she'll really like that. Good thinking. I guess I'll just do that for my girlfriend too." I can't count how many sad sad gf's and wives that wear that damn "forever" heart neckless! **EXAMPLE BELOW

Yes! This one! To all the females that read this how many of you all have this exact Tiffany's Heart Pendent? Or not even out of the page but just in general, how many girls a day do you see walking around with this on? And listen this is just my opinion but thankfully I have never been given this because I think everyone I've dated know I despise hearts and despise anything ordinary. But you know if Hearts from Tiffany's are your think then that's cool but you have to realize there are some really cool awesome LARGE gifts out there. You kind have to get it on your own or hint and then in 2 years they should bee fully adjusted to your likes and dislikes. And no bad marks on Tiffany's. When I used to work next door to Tiffany's, I literally had "Lunch Hour at Tiffany's" and would sit there in the "good" room(that's the 1st room you walk into at most Tiffany's. It's full of the most beautiful diamonds that one would ever want to see), and try on everything fabulous. They even tried to talk me out of my 3 caret engagement ring but telling me I was too tiny but I insisted that that Tiffany Setting 3 Carat in a size four looked fabulous! I have such long skinny fingers its just gross but anyways. I mean that was fun and all but really I'm much more of a Van Cleef and Tacori girl.

Today we are going to be extraordinary and get our Chanel on. Not a bag, not a fragrance, and unfortunately not any of the fabulous clothes but something close......Chanel Jewelry and Vintage Chanel Jewelry! You know when you go to Chanel Boutique at Sak's and you're so overwhelmed by all the beautiful rare Chanel bags that you never really get a chance to spend that much time on the jewelry? And then when you do, some of the pieces from the jewelry collection are almost as much as the bags so you say "Ohh I just can't" and walk away. This is where you guys can come in!!! Instead of those Jewelry stores at the mall get her something eccentric. And the 1st example of that would be a good starter would be a piece of Chanel Jewelry. It's something that we never get to get for ourselves but something that we long for very much. Believe me......you'll win hubby/bf of the year! Here are a few pieces I pulled so take a glance and if you have any questions just write me. Everyone gets Tiffany Hearts and LV bags. Be different!

Baby We Were Born to Run

It was the night of the Emmy's in my soon to be new home! The fashion was fab and temperature was hot. Let's take a look at my favorite cast of Glee(which may I mention was nominated an outstanding 18 noms, January Jones, and umm yeah that's pretty much who I liked haha. I'm VERY picky.

Let's start off with my girl Lea Michelle, aka, Rachel Berry from Glee. Were starting with her because she was my favorite by far. She rocked out the navy(always been my favorite color to do a great look with), organza tulle(my favorite fabric), ruffles(I have ruffles on everything. I can't live without them), and Oscar de la Renta. Add those 4 things together and you are probably going to get an amazing dress and screams my name. And She did! Stunning!!!!! Look at the top of the dress as well. See that beautiful intertwining sweetheart neckline. And the fabric ohhhh it's just heavenly. As soon as I saw her I screamed "OMG did you see that ruffle starting at the butt with the dress in complete Organza Tulle!" My family thinks I am nuts and I sure am when it comes to fashion. So take a GOOD look at Lea and remember this dress because this is simple perfection.

Perfection! LOVE!

Moving on to one of the hottest men alive in my eyes(we all know my type. dark skinned, dark eyes, and HOT HOT HOT!) This equals Mark Salling. Isn't he just a doll! He's even better when he is rocking his Mohawk that he grows for filming season of Glee. And he plays the guitar. And.....I could go on and on but I'll stop. Okay just look don't touch!

Jayma Mays, aka, Emma from Glee was actually the 1st person I saw and started jumping up and down(yes I do this when I see a fabulous dress). Gorgeous, stunning, flawless! She totally rocked it in her Navy, ruched with dramatic ribbon accented gown done by Burberry's Prorsum Collection. If you don't know about this line, get to know. It's the runway collection for Burberry and every piece is outstanding and unlike any other line. 1000 thumbs up!

Now this is my last but always my favorite girl at the Emmy's, January Jones. I won't say that I liked this dress over last years, but it is runway futuristic glamor. It's to die basically. Done by versace and in a bright metallic blue. I love. But her look for the Golden Globes this year is actually one of my favorite looks done by anyone who has walked the red carpet. She did a Black Lanvin dress with a Satin Black Headpiece/Wrap. 1st off, Lanvin, almost always does all my favorite dresses recently so it's not a suprise to me that I love this. But it's also just absolutely freaking gorgeous, sleek, perfection. She has a perfect body for clothes so everything looks pretty glam on her! LOVEEEE!

*Not to go unnoticed ......Kim Kardashian you looked so pretty and chose the perfect gown for your figure, Guiliana I think I would have picked differently for your body type, and Dianna Argon....you're so stunning nothing can really make you look bad. I wasn't in love with your dress just because I'm not a lace person but I did love the mauve and black together and you're just adorable!

Save Those Kisses! Eyelash Wishes!

Sorry boys but this ones for all my chicas out there who love and adore have long, thick, beautiful, breathtaking eyelashes. I've said before that I only trust my lashes to Dior and that is still extremely true. I am very lucky and have big brown eyes that can handle that daring larger Dior Show wand. But now.....maybe some of you others girls can choose Dior too!

Today at Sephora I walked right in and discovered a whole table just dedicated to my love, Dior Show. Now if you have never tried Dior Show I will give a little description; Dior Show is the best lengthening and thickening mascara in the business. This isn't only my opinion, but a ton of others. Everyone pretty much gets hooked on it and it literally(if you have a good nice set of long lashes yourself as well), the look of thick luscious long long lashes. You'll get asked a lot if they are fake.($24) It's just that good. Now, I use Dior Show on it's own......until now.

This August Dior release two new mascaras and if you combine the 3 I guess you should be looking like you're wearing Kim Kardashians fakes! Of course nothing beat a good application on individual lashes done by a professional. You can rock those alone with no make up and be ready to go(only reason why I still walk in fashion shows. I love getting the individual lashes.) But with the Dior Show, Dior Extase, and Diorshow Maximizer......you should get pretty close.

Dior Extase-It's a flash pumping mascara. In the blink of an eye, discover the ecstasy of spectacularly full lashes. With a exclusive Couture-designed brush, Dior Extase creates an instant false-lash look with a single coat.($28)

Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum-This is the primer which you use and your 1st coat before your other Dior's. It's an incredibly plumping lash shaper. Lashes are instantly curled, thickened, and lengthened. The perfect prep to amplify and optimize mascara. **Proven Results-visibly lengthens lashes and up to twice as much volume.($28)

Sounds pretty amazing huh? Well I am about to hop in the shower and try this out and let you know. But I can tell you this much without even having to try.....You can't go wrong with the Dior mascaras. The line also has mascaras in Blackout and Iconic. It's up to you. My advise is to try them all. All Dior counters and Sephoras gladly except returns of products that you tried out but didn't really work out for you. That's the best part. So go on and get Dior crazy! Results coming up soon loves.......

Ohh and don't forget to always curl your lashes before you begin. It's key. Shu Uemura last curler is my favorite and is available to Sephora($19).

Peace & Love

RESULTS
I used the serum on both eyes then did the right eye with the New Dior Extase and the left eye with my beloved classic Dior Show. End result: The DiorShow Lash Plumping Maximizer Serum is beyond fabulous. I LOVE it. I use it underneath my mascara as well as at night before I go bed bed on my lashes alone to help thicken and strengthen them through the night. It's a definite must have and I promise you, you will be 100% satisfied. As for the Dior Extase, I personally did not enjoy it as much as I do my DiorShow. The brush is amazing with the 3 larger bumps that help you really get in there but the formula was a tad too clumpy for me. Now I do STRONGLY suggest trying it because everyone is different and I talked to someone who absolutely loves it much better then they do DiorShow. But for me It's the Maximizing Serum and the Show. I hope you all enjoy trying these products and this review. Muah!
