Cold as Fire-Hot as Ice

If you have ever read any of my other Red Carpet events, I bet you all know what I favored. There is one surprise in there but other than that just think of my ultimate dream dress.....Lea Micheles Navy Ruffled Silk Organza Tulle dress from this years Emmy's. Just to die!

Which brings me to my overall Favorite dress at the Globes.....

Piper Perabo in a Black Silk Faille Oscar de la Renta
Gown. As you can see this dress has all my qualifications....well let's just say as soon as I saw that gorgeous bow on her shoulder I was suckered in. I love this dress because of the beautiful detail but it is perfectly simple. Perfection!

And 2nd runner up was a dead given as well. In a bubble gum Pink Taffeta Oscar de la Renta, Miss Lea Michele. I love love love this one shoulder number. This year I was all about Oscar. The best is that I despise the color pink. You will not find one pink item in my closet but this Dress I would wear in a second. I wouldn't change a thing about it!

This one is not my typical dress for red carpet but it is a dress I would love to wear. I believe it's absolutely stunning and although I don't really care for the actress wearing it, I completely put that aside. Sandra Bullock in Jenny Packham. I love bohemian style romantic dresses. This one is priceless and I love Jenny Packham. Great Job!

I no longer do Worst Dressed because I believe everyone in their own way looked beautiful and now that I think of it, it's really just plain mean to do that! I hope all the attendees had a wonderful time in their beautiful black tie attire and I want to give a shout to Chris Colfer. Yes!!!! As for the men it's a dead given. Johnny Depp you are soo ridiculously gorgeous I can't even handle it sometime. You look like a dirty musician bad boy and I love it!

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

Recently I have added a few links to the right of the page for my favorite foundations and associations. These causes to me are ones that have affected my life and those around me. I have also noticed that many are not fully educated on the disorders, what you can do to help, warning signs, and most importantly to create the courage, if you are suffering, to be strong and go get help. And I am ALWAYS here if anyone needs to speak with me on these issues. I feel like a doctor sometimes I've been through so much and know everything about the diseases I live with.

Getting started I have two amazing sites dealing with depression, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and To Write Love on Her Arms. Beginning with AFSP you will learn about suicide, why it occurs, how to recover from a loved one lost to suicide, and how to donate and help. This is a very sketchy subject. If you haven't been there or you don't have a loved one that's been there then it is sometimes VERY hard to understand. But it's real and the feelings of wanting nothing more than to not live anymore, are no joke. When I go through suicidal states(lets hope I don't ever again), it's a feeling and condition your are in that you cannot get out of.

To Write Love on Her Arms is my absolute favorite organization. They have a huge fan base on facebook and ALWAYS have people to talk to that you can speak with if you are having a tough time. It's also amazing because TWLOHA doesn't focus on one disorder alone. If you notice, say by just knowing someone or watching celebrity rehab or intervention, you will see that one disorder starts the whole chain that links your depression(schizophrenia, bi-polar disease, eating disorder, etc. with your self injury(such as cutting), to your substance abuse, to your thoughts of suicide, to ect. It's to give you hope and connect with others. TWLOHA tours year round to speak in many different cities about their mission and let you know you are not alone!

Human Rights Campaign really needs no introduction. This is highly important to me and I hope to you too. We are all different, we are all beautiful, and we all love. HRC is a huge organization that concentrates on having a nation where lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people are ensured equality and embraced as full members of the American family at home, at work and in every community. This slowly beginning to change in some areas but there is still soo much knowledge we need to bring to people. This is one of the reason I loved Cali. Everyone was free out there. Free of judgement, free of hurt.

The National Institute on Drug Abuse is a great organization for educating yourself whether you need help, someone you know, or you would like just to deepen your education on the subject. Substance abuse is fucked up. Really fucked up. And the worst part is sometimes you just can't quit. You won't even be getting high anymore but you are in a out of your min train of thought. A lot of research has been done on this topic. You can actually have substance abuse just on it's own but it most of the time comes with a mental disorder. Ex: A high percentage of people suffering from Bi-polar Disorder have the addictive gene. If they are on a manic phase they are often overtly sexual and are taking many drugs. Gosh....umm let me think of someone with substance abuse. When I think addiction, I often think of people with a lot of creative input, so let's just say Johnny Depp. Depp is a recovering alcoholic and drug addict. He also has gone through bouts of depression and liked cutting. As you see now, Depp has completely removed himself from where he could enter back into that atmosphere where he knows he could relapse. It's not easy though. You can go through 5 rehab stints until you finally give in to the treatment. Most don't make it on their 1st shot. It is a horrible disease and I hope everyone educates themselves on this topic. Detox sucks, living without the love of your life(your drug) sucks, and trying to stay clean sucks.

If everyone could please go over the links and read and educate yourself on these particular matters, I would be highly grateful. Also, like always, if you want to message me about one of these matters please do. Like I said, I've lived through it all. Here's to everyone getting through whatever you all may be going through right now and going to get help.

Peace&Love

Think You're Really HOT HOT

Okay now go ahead and take a guess who I am about to talk about........okay don't because I know you are ALL thinking Rafael Nadal because recently he has been my major discussion piece but think of who I truly have adored for many many many years. Did you guess it? Well you should have! It's Mr. Johnny Depp!!! Ohh lala <3.
Johnny has affected my life in soo many ways I cannot even tell you. But first and foremost Johnny made me realize what I like in a man. It's those dark eyes and dark hair. I'm a sucker for them everytime. Although the guy I am seeing right now is just about as sweet as an angel and feel like he's just way to good to be true......he also has the hottest dark eyes and hair. Soo hot! Okay now back to Johnny.

I started watching Depp films around when he starred in Edward Scissor Hands. Yeah he was hot in that but it was more of his later work that I really began to see him as my #1 hottest guy in the world. Benny & Joon, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and of course Blow. In the film, Blow, I don't think he could have gotten much hotter. Airport scene with white suit anyone??? 1st off he had that long hair and those sexy eyes and he was bad. Okay I have to stop talking about that now. Making me hot. Now Johnny is the perfect life partner to Ms. Paradis and lives in France with her and his two children. And as much as I did love the "bad" Johnny in his multiple drug movies, etc., I truly respect the new Johnny and what he is doing for film.

Over the past recent years Johnny has dedicated himself to work that his children can watch. He's amazing! So with that we got Finding Neverland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride, all of the fabulous Pirate's of the Caribbean films, and coming out soon Alice and Wonderland. I've been waiting for this one forever!!!! I'm a child at heart though so as much as I loved his pre children work, I adore his post children work just the same.

Another great thing about Johhny Depp is that yes girls love him, but guys love his just as much as well. He is one cool dude. One of my favorite facts about Johnny is that he had been playing in bands since he was 12! And we all know how much I love my rocker boys. He is very relatable and down to earth. And an amazing role model. Below are a few fun facts about Johnny. Enjoy!

1. Johnny owned the very popular Viper Room nightclub on Sunset in LA where unfortunately River Phoenix OD'd at.

2. He lost his virginity at the age of 13 to a groupie of the band he was playing in at the time.

3. He's an obvious sucker for love like myself, being married once and engaged on four different occasions.

4. Mr. Depp has smoked cigarettes since the age of 12.

Love and Peace
