He is in There and You're on the Outside

Tonight I ran to the mall to do a return(ohh my gosh, shut up, did I really go shopping again?) Why yes I did thank you and yes I know I have a serious addiction here but it's wedding season and that requires extra time to be dedicated to my almost already booked days of shopping. Moving on; So instead of returning I just found something else that was freaking great to add to one of my girlfriends gifts and after that I 'accidentally' took a wrong turn and ended up in BCBG Max Azria where I continued to say, "ohh that's perfect! yes, I'll take that as well." Thankfully I got my butt back to Nordstrom where the clock struck 9 and my Vera Wang Lavender 'Millie' Flat flew off and I was out the door with 1 shoe and 3 bags with tissue overflowing. I think the mall or say the fairy tale "ball" has had enough of me. But don't worry I had other plans.

I went to a magical place where the closing time isn't until 10pm. A place I like to call shop, eat pizza hut, and drink your Frappachino as you go........Target! Since no designers are running lines right now I immediately skipped over to skincare. Now Since I was running late tonight, I was unable to grab my Keihl's Cucumber toner and Avocado Eye Cream. I just didn't know what to do so I did what any other smart chica would do. I went through every single toner I could find. I'm on a very strict acne regimen with my dermatologist so I didn't want to mess up his flow but my skin is sooo dry and disgustingly broken out from stress, I really needed an extra product. After seeing that EVERYTHING contained salicylic acid(which is an absolute NO for me), I finally ran into a great toner called Boots Expert Anti-Blemish Toner and it was just perfect and my skin feels great! I also decided that although I may have been a disastrous, messed up, caretaker(to my dad), skinny, with 6 inch roots; That was no reason to not ever put make-up back on. So I also grabbed some make up remover from Sonia Kashuk which I didn't think anything great of until I got home and googled it and it's won best make up remover for years. I'm pumped how. I'm putting all the goods of these lovely lids and lashes tomorrow! Okay and that's all about Target because I just got really bored about it all the sudden. I will say this though; Target is amazing. I would probably say like 20% of my wardrobe right now is from there. I have a lot of the Zac Posen, Rodarte, Luella, Proenza Schouler, and many more of the great lines that were created for Target by some of my favorite designers. (the fabric is nothing like the real and some of it does sometimes look cheap but believe me if you look you will find a shining star piece for your collection.)

That was an intro leading into some pieces from here and there that I would like to share with you from my lovely purchases this summer. Yes, I might have not been in the right state of mind but when I'm not in the right state of mind is when I do my best shopping. There are 6 places you could have caught me June-present.....the hospital, the rehabilitation center, at home helping my mother with everything we needed to do for my dad once he got home(still doing that), therapy, visiting my fellow crazy hot bitch Maggie, and at every shopping site you can think of in Pittsburgh, PA. If I wasn't there I was making sleeping concoctions that didn't work and writing songs and poems about how fucked up insomnia is, in one of my thousand notebooks I have thrown around the house. Yep, that was it! I just decided we'll go ahead and make this a two piece article because it's already quite long and I have a lot of photos for the next section.

En Su Bolsillo

Although I always tend to be a pricey little shop-a-holic, we all know that I am a huge sucker for the guest designers creations every couple of months at Target. I think I did a run through of my closet, which nevermind I taped that and never put it up so I need to get my video blogging going, but anyways there is a good amount of the Target Guest Designer lines running around. The only concern that I have about these pieces is that they are done in junior sizing form. You always my be going up and down so you must try on. I usually go up a size or two if that is any indication. Sizing runs from 1-13 and XS-XL.

This early spring, Zac Posen graced us with his beautiful and now pieces as he did his line for Target. I give this line a 7 out of 10. I adore it but I can see how other may not. It's very fashion forward so if you don't usually shop for that kind of style you may not find it too appealing. I, for instance, love the line. It's amazing in your face designs are things you are not going to find elsewhere and for the price, I mean there are no words. The 1st things I would like to start with is the navy pant suit with the black detailing. This suit is very fierce and leaves you thinking of a very powerful woman. Perfect for the office and great to wear anytime. Take the regular cut pants for instance. Just throw on a black or white dressy tank and a solid colored high pump, and you are good to go. Same with the jacket. Fabulous to buy on it's own as well and you can use this both summer and winter pairing it with jeans, black dress pants, or even a great pencil or a-line skirt.

The Snap dress is the dress that I will feature out of this line. I grabbed this dress right away. *NOTE-must go up a size. The dress is in navy again with black and silver detailing. The cute is a major reason of why I loved the dress. It's very tight and gives a gorgeous fit, especially around the waist, cap sleeves, and a full skirt. I believe this would look amazing on everybody. The chest section in done in a low V with 3 or 4 pieces going across. That may be the only problem. I have a small chest so is did not cause any pulling or such but girls with bigger breasts may want to skip this one.

There is one skirt in the collection that is just to die. When you pass it on the hanger you look and say to yourself "what in the hell is that". What it is is the sexiest, ruched, pencil skirt with a gunmetal silver exposed zipper all the way down the skirt in the front. YOU MUST TRY ON. This was my favorite buy out of the collection along with a tie dye one piece swimsuit that is very sexy and has a great bottom on it.......well actually a no bottom on it. It's bazillion cut to the slimmest. Since this blog is so late I am sorry if some of the things are gone completely in your store. Great job Zac Posen........now if I could only afford your real work! Hope you guys all find something you love!
