TE DIJO TE AMO

Even though the next Grand Slam for all of you tennis addicts, like myself, isn't until January in Australia, we can still all get excited for next weeks Paris BNP Master Series. Why are we excited? Love of the sport-yes, but most importantly, the love of Rafael Nadal. Now all of you that know me know I have a mild to intense love for Rafa. It was kind of like my spring/summer moto......Vamos Rafa! I lived and breathed tennis. Injury struck Rafa and left him out of the French and Wimbledon grand slams and bringing his ranking down to #2, letting Federer have his #1 position back.

Well guess what people....Rafa's back! And he's gonna bring it. Often people assume I am obsessed with Rafa for his looks, but this isn't the entire truth. I love the way he plays the game as well. It's rough, it's real, it's fascinating! And yes, on top of all that he is my idea of gorgeous. Rafa has everything I love in the looks area. Dark eyes, dark hair, dark skin, and his hot Spanish tongue. These have always been my types of guys. My 9th grade bf was a tortured artist. His drawings spoke to me and his guitar playing sent me into a lovely obyess. He looked just like Rafa when Rafa's hair was shoulder length. Sometimes I still wonder where he is and what he's doing but I found that out the other day and he is engaged with child. Not so hot.

So everyone can jump on the Rafael Nadal bandwagon along with me, let me give you some important details so you sound knowledgeable.
1. He grew up and lives on the island of Mallorca, Spain.
2. His gf's name is Franchesca and they met through his little sister.
3. Sponsored by Nike.
4. LOVES chocolate croissants. If you haven't tried one, you must! Whole Foods has the best.
5. He listens to Phantom of the Opera before he gets on the court. Pumps him up.
6. Hair looks best shoulder length, in sleeveless shirts, and Nike head wraps.
7. In the land of Spain he is followed like a movies star and Spain says that "Rafa defines Spain"

VAMOS RAFA!!!!!!
Hopefully one day I'll get to go see him in person but for now I just intensely watch the Tennis Channel. I suggest you do the same.

Peace and Love,

S
