Pop singer Britney Spears is one of the biggest selling female artists in the last decade, according to music magazine Billboard, article released this week ranked a list of the 20 artists who achieved "Platinum Diso, with only 7 days of sales.
And the pop princess got in 2000, placing the album Oops! ... I Did It Again in the first position of sales over 1 million copies of the full length album in its first week of release.
Spears, who next will arrive on December 2 at age 29, is working on what would be their seventh studio album, which will feature the leading producers like Max Martin, who worked for his first works.
After Oops! ... I Did It Again, the singer won first place with its subsequent album, Britney (2001), In the Zone (2003), Blackout (2007) and more recently Circus (2008), in addition, his compilation album released in late 2009, with previously unreleased track "3" ranked first, won rave reviews and big sales.
The list also included Whitney Houston, Eminem, Nsync and Taylor Swift, as the artists that sold in the last decade.
