Ticket Sales For “Femme Fatale Tour Begin On April 30th

New York, NY - Pop superstar Britney Spears achieves another benchmark with her current album, Femme Fatale. This week, Spears’ seventh album – which spawned the No. 1 hit “Hold It Against Me” and the Top 5 smash “Till The World Ends”- is certified platinum by the RIAA. This latest news brings Britney’s U.S. albums certifications to the 32 million sales mark.

The certification comes as tickets for her highly anticipated all female Femme Fatale Tour with special guest Nicki Minaj, Jessie and the Toy Boys and Nervo go on sale April 30th. The tour kicks off on June 16th in Sacramento.

Spears’ impressive reach goes beyond the U.S. as fans world wide are embracing her latest project. Femme Fatale has also achieved platinum status in Canada and is gold-certified in the UK, France, Mexico, Czech Republic, Brazil, Korea & Singapore. The current single, “Till The World Ends” is in the Top 10 on iTunes charts in Canada, Mexico, Australia, France, Spain and Denmark and the song ranks in the Top 20 on radio airplay charts across Europe.

An article for Billboard Brazil has spilled the beans that Selena Gomez not only will be recording the song “Whiplash” written by Britney Spears, but also will be recording 2 additional songs written by Britney specifically for Selena! Both producers Dr Luke and Kevin Rudolph confirmed to Billboard about the songs. Kevin Rudolph had this to say about the songs’ lyrics- “The lyrics are like a drug, so catchy! I cannot stop watching the two previous video post I placed in the blog below. I kind of started ignoring Lady Gaga as a person and what she had to say because at one point I do believe she was just talking nonsense and being too provocative for her young fans but that's not it at all. She's being true to us. Not leaving out a word of what she feels and goes through, excitement and scares. I think she is absolutely insane and in my eyes being absolutely insane is being absolutely genius. I've never met a person that was insane that wasn't genius because something in there life fell and they had to crawl back up and get it. The strongest people. She faked it till she made it and now that she did make it she still can't believe it. Even when you watch Laurieann Gibson on her Boomkack dance show on E! you will see how when she speaks about Lady Gaga(who she is personal choreographer to lady gaga and the Haus of Gaga), her eyes widen and she knows shes talking about someone who gave everything they had to get where they are.





I can't stop watching these "behind the scenes HBO specials" for the Monster Ball and not on a single one, did I not cry. She is soo true and real to herself and to her fans it's just unbelievably touching. She gives me soo much hope, power, enrichment, and spirituality. I do believe the creative souls are closest to God. There is something about the stage that if you don't have God watching it's really not possible. This is about that thing. that thing that you feel in your soul when the lights dim, the the crowd roars, and you're not you anymore. You become this things that disappears and comes back at the end to take your bow. You're superhuman. I know that is the feeling shes talking about because nothing brings you such emotions. Please watch all of these little segments. there are more on youtube if you look under Monster Ball HBO. I don't know if it is because I know how your soul takes over or I can just feel the truth and the ambition in her words, but I believe this is something everyone should get a chance to feel. GO AFTER YOUR DREAMS. SUCK IT UP AND DO IT. NO FEAR.

Will.I.Am talks about Britney

When will.i.am hit the studio with Britney Spears for her Femme Fatale track “Big Fat Bass,” the producer and Black Eyed Peas frontman said the singer was completely engrossed in the recording process.

“[I discovered] her love for music. I never seen anyone, like, come alive, full of excitement and giggling and laughing behind the mic,” will recalled to MTV News. “She was like a little kid when she was recording the song and it just brought the whole atmosphere, it changed the whole atmosphere when someone really loves music. So it was great working with her.”
Spears expressed a similar sentiment about recording her chart-topping album during her recent “I Am the Femme Fatale” MTV special, which featured a cameo by will.i.am, who was finishing up the party track at the time.
“When you’re in the studio, you’re just really focused, you’re really in your head and in your ears and on the notes,” she explains in the show. “And when you’re performing, it’s more a connection on the outside and more of — like a tiger and more in your body.”
Both Brit and will are now industry vets so the BEP singer said he didn’t have much advice for the star.
“When someone’s excited to go out and just do it, what advice? You don’t need no advice. She’s just turned on right now. She is [like], ‘I like this part right here.’ When I say [on the song], ‘You all better get ready for the kick drum,’ she was already anticipating what she was going to do onstage when that beat broke down,” he explained. “Adding that type of perspective … when we we’re recording it, you don’t need to give nobody [like Britney] advice.”

Cause We Make the HIPSTERS Fall in LOVE

When moving to the West Coast/Los Angeles you would expect a.) beautiful beaches b.) live music at almost every bar you go to c.) a distinct change of culture, including a wonderful laid back look at life, and d.) endless sunny skies. But little do you know, Los Angeles holds a whole different atmosphere that you wouldn't always expect. Here is a list of the fabulous things that you run into everyday in good old Los Angeles, CA.



1. Donut Shops-This was a huge shocker but wonderful surprise to me. Donut Shops rule this town. You cannot go 2 blocks without seeing a glorious donut shop! I lived it up for the first month or so but then the excitement of the donut shop wore off a little. It's marvelous though and I certainly have never seen anything like it! *Usually ran by none English speaking workers.

2. The Smoke Shop-You can usually find one of these in every plaza or street you hit up. Smoke shops let you pick up cigs, rolling papers, fancy lighters, cigars, and a huge supply of bowls, bongs, and any other object you prefer to smoke out of. You can also a lot of the time pick up some of the legal drug, Salvia, that gives you a great hallucinating trip for 4-10 minutes!

3. Dispensaries-There is absolutely no getting around these. Without them Cali wouldn't really be Cali. You present your ID along with our certification to be medically treated with Weed. Inside you will find hundreds of different strands, sativas and indicas, pre-rolled joints, along with lollipops, cookies, brownies, peanut butter, basically anything you can imagine for you to eat laced with weed. Pretty damn spectacular! 4. Thai Food-You cannot escape it. In L.A. Thai food is available on almost every block and even when it's bad, you still suck it up and eat it. Along with the Thai food you will often find FABULOUS burger joints such as; FatBurger, In-N-Out, Carls Jr., Astro Burger, etc.

5. Bicycles-Biking is everywhere you go. I even own a nice classy used blue bike and it serves as my usual way of transportation. This is one of my favorite things about of L.A. Watch out for bad or really advanced bikers. I'm still on the bad side and you really don't want to come near me cause wrecking into walls, people, and palm trees is still quite apparent. P.S. If you are going to be in Santa Monica/Venice or live in that area, biking is a blast! Bicycles have there own cement path right in the middle of the sand. Gorgeous. 6. 7-11-Is your town missing out on all the goodness that lies in the convenience store that we call 7-11? No slurpees near you? Well fear no more because 7-11 is the main corner store in every single neighborhood. I know in Pittsburgh that I only see 7-11's downtown and that sucks. Here they are free flowing and perfect for a late night hot dog, slurpee, and chips when you have the late night munchies.

7. Converse Sneaks-It's pretty much the only shoe worn. Period. 8. Palm Readers and Fortune Tellers-Don't fear when having a weird day or feeling a little lost in life because in Los Angeles you can get your fortune read, tarot cards done, palm read, and your numerology told on literally every other block. It's crazy but so is L.A. so I suppose they go hand in hand. You can also find a lot of fortune tellers that are open 24 hours too for your convenience!



9. And to top it off, I dedicate my last "cali things" to all the wonderful "Hipsters"-They're everywhere you go but mostly reside in East Los Angeles such as Echo Park, Silver Lake, Los Feliz, and Little Armenia. You can spot these folks by there outfits which include; tight tight tight skinny jeans on men, smoking American Spirit Cigarettes, wearing plastic rimmed eye glasses(some prescribed, some not), scarfs mainly tied around the neck, drinking a can of PBR, and a great arrogant, I'm better than you attitude! Well that's all for now but more discoveries are sure to be obtained. Ohh and please don't forget my blog about the Taco Stands(you are also practically living in Mexico). They are pretty much the #1 Cali fixture and ohh soo delicious!!!
