The Bass is Feelin' Nice

MAY MUST HAVES!

10. Britney Tickets-Hello this is obviously going to be the hottest thing going this summer. Brit's album is so fierce that I just know she is going to bring it! I don't know a soul who isn't going, but hurry because Britney selected very few cities this year and tickets will be going fast. She's even only doing one show at the Staples Center!

9. Lace Shorts-GORGEOUS! Black, beige, and even white lace shorts can dress up a casual tee look in a micro second. Or pair it with a boyfriend blazer and a sky high nude stiletto for a night out look.

8. Spring-Spring into it! Get those winter clothes and blues put away and let the past be the past. Even though it still be a little chilly where you are, go out and try on sundresses to get you looking forward to the sun and lemonade.

7. Pastel Polish-This is cute and all but I highly doubt I will follow this trend. My heart is still with the blacks, navys, greens, and deep purples.....BUT I do have a couple wonderful colors that I discovered shopping today that would fit the bill just fine. Butter London Polish in *Cheeky Chomps or *Yummy Mummy.

6. Being healthy in Mind and Spirit-You only live once so make every effort you can to make sure you are pleased in all aspects of your life. If one if out of place it can begin a domino effect leaving you lost and wondering. Just relax and enjoy life because you never know when it may be your last.

5. White iPhone4-Wow finally. It took about 8 months for Apple to finally release this one. I am very upset because I did put away the cash to get the iPhone in white and now is not a great time monetary wise. Damn you Apple! I still think the white is going to be great for the iPhone 4th generation and quite chic.

4. Audrina(from The Hills)-hahahaha sooo just kidding. So this girl and her family has a reality show. I made it through 2 minutes. I had no idea where Audrina was looking, I couldn't stand watching her shoot bikini pics after I saw what she eats(nothing!), there is really no dialogue because Audrina is very quite and boring so nothing fun was coming out of her mouth, and her mom is right up there with Dina Lohan. Please take it off the air immediately. Thank you.

3. Deleting Your Facebook Account-I swear I hear the word "facebook" or "well I wrote it on your wall" or looking at where people have "checked in" to. I don't even know what the last one means. Why the hell would you want people to know where your at? Weird. It's time to put a serious end to this trend.

2. Orange Lips-My favorite thing about the spring. I LOVE a bring lipstick and I LOVE a great fabulous orange. I tried and have the Make Up Forever lipstick in Satin Bright Orange(40) with a top coat of gloss in Make Up Forever's Diamond Collection shade(D20). Go to your local Sephora to have a specialist pick out a few shades that will match your skin tone. Everyone can wear it!

1. Best Friends!

Shorty is a Eenie, Meenie, Miney, Mo, Lova-Part 2

Where I left off........which I'm speaking of when I was still talking about the 2010 AMA's, I think I just finished off on what a great night our little J. Beiber had, and he did. Congrats doll! Now on with the show!

I actually missed a couple of the performances but did make it to see the second half. The only person I truly cared to see was my girl, Taylor Swift but before I caught her, I saw Rhianna open the show. I actually really like that song that she sang for the second half of her performance. I have no idea the name because I won't lie, I'm not really a huge Rhianna follower. I do(most of the time) love her style and right now I am MAJORLY OBSESSED with her hair. Ever since she added extensions and colored it that crazy bright bright red, I've loved her. I was sooo over that short man hair cut she had going on. Ohh and I did have a thing for Disturbia. I think I spent a month listening to it on repeat. Bible. I did not like her outfit tonight or her backup dancers. She looked way cuter in the crown and white tutu get up she wore for the VMA's with Em. And then the next time I saw the television Ms. Taylor was coming on.

Can we say GORGEOUS!!!! I love Taylor no matter what her hair, make up, and clothes are doing but man she must have hired a killer stylist for this evening because it was a brand new Taylor. Enough about that though. Once again I think EVERYONES vocals sounded a lil off tonight so just putting it all on Taylor and having people talk about her singing live like they did at the CMA's, let's just say she did a great job with what she had to work with. She sang "Back to December", which is a love song about changing your mind about dating someone and then going back and looking at it and think like 'what was I thinking? I do really like him. Why did I do that?' I do this alot because I can never make up my mind and not saying I have commitment issues, because I don't believe I do, but I always do leave a lot of relationships due to me over analysing everything about it. I totally get this song, just like I get every other one of Taylor's songs. The song is about Taylor Laughtner, that kid from the vampire movies. Along with "Back to December", "Story of Us" is also about Mr. Laughtner. I don't believe the two dated. maybe they talked on the phone and held hands once or twice but hey you know how young love is at that age. Very dramatic. (I think he's 18 and she's 21) She wore a Black Suit and her hair slicked back in a straight ponytail with long bangs and played and sang at the piano, got up to do a brief rendition of "Appologize" then finished. Beautiful performance.

Next I got to see that trashy girl that I think should be banned from kids under 18. Her name is Ke$ha. Well Kesha once again you looked and performed(or whatever she were trying to do) very poorly. She had on the eye goggles that had bright lights in them and the stage was set up like it was a club and her dancers sucked and it was just one big hot hot mess! How this chick is popular, I just don't know. Alright can't talk about her anymore. I'm going to barf if I do.

A few more people did their thing(Xtina, Usher, some people I've never heard of before). Nothing and no one great. The only thing that even gave the show a little pizazz was the Backstreet/NKOTB performance. The highlight of my night was getting to stare at Gavin Rossdale(can Bush get back together and tour again please?) for a good 5 minutes. Damn that man is hot. I've loved him since well whenever Sixteen Stone came out. Hot, hot, hot. Overall I give this awards show a 1 1/2 stars for lack of good performers. Personally I think we need to take it back and remember when performances were really freaking cool or history making. I haven't seen a memorable performance in years and that pains me because I live for this.

Like hey Justin Timerlake, why do you have to tease us with the AMAZING "Future Sex/Love Sounds" album, and all the incredible performances that came with it then just dip out for like 4 years? Really though J, how are you gonna bring SEXYBACK and then just dip. Not cool. Chris Brown......I don't really care anymore that you assaulted your gf. I miss your dancing. It was right up there with MJ's! Britney, listen I know your fathers a dick and wants to keep you under lock and key forever but you have to break free. Find those medical records of yours, erase it all, and give it to the judge and say you're cool again. You never never left us disappointed. I can't think of one performance you did that wasn't memorable. Even that VMA "Gimme More" performance, the one where you took like 20 tequila shots on top of who knows what kind of meds Sam Lufti fed you that day, it was still quite entertaining! Please come back and no more marking the choreography. Full out Britney, full out! The rest of my favorite entertaining peeps are either dead, band is no longer together, or just don't do sell out award shows like this.

Speaking of someone who was missing tonight because he would never perform at this shit was Eminem. It really was kinda like a teeny bopper show. He and Lil Weezy would have looked a lil out of place and way too cool up there rapping "No Love". The worst is that Beiber won everything over Em. Ohh kids......one of these days you'll learn what a genius Eminem is(Beiber has been listening to Em since he was 3 supposedly. I would hope not cause he's real f'd in the head if he has. I mean we do have to admit Eminem is not the most sane person out there) but until then I totally understand your love for the Beibs. I even watched his video a few times for the "baby baby baby" song. So cute. And everyone is rocking the Beiber haircut. Hell, if I was 15 I would totally be in love with this kid too. But I'm older so I will wish him the best and watch his kick ass performances. He does remind me of a future JT. But if I were to vote I would obviously be voting for the album that I probably wrote at least 10 blogs about, Recovery.

Tonight was kinda like a huge wake up call that we need something to happen in music because it's pretty dead right now. Rap scene is pretty hot(Em, kanye, jay, Dre Weezy) but other than that in all truthfulness, T. Swizzle and Beiber is the best we've got. And Taylor doesn't dance so that moves her down a spot. I do have MASSIVE hope and faith in the band "The Pretty Reckless". The 1st album is amazing and I wish they weren't so new so they could be out there but they are still in the promo phase. Definetly check them out though. I post them a lot. Hope you all enjoyed them and hope you enjoyed my trip down, what was actually good music, lane.

And the Stars are Just Like Little Fish

I just read the post from last night and I really love it and the photos so if you haven't yet please give it a go. It's kind of funny because as I was doing some shopping today I noticed a huge trend. Is it 1993 again and i didn't know it? If these lines, and I even have to put down my beloved Elizabeth & James, really want to redo the whole "grunge look" again they are really messing it up. To recreate the look of the early '90's all you have to do is go hit up a thrift store or goodwill, grab an awesome REAL vintage tee, a pair of corduroys, and a flannel. It should cost you a total of $5 and that's how that's done. My mother didn't talk to me for years because this is how I shopped. Now tonight was hilarious actually. And believe me, no one loves there designer clothes better than I do, but I was actually repulsed.
So I walk into the Saavy Dept. and at 1st I was pulling cocktails from Roberto Cavalli(Like the fall line), but then as I got deeper into the sea of greys, blacks, browns, and olives, I discovered I was no longer in 2010 but rather had just transferred back to the grunge phase. The grunge phase my my favorite and really has been the only musically influenced trend in the past 20 years. Which saddens me beyond belief. *Sorry miss Gaga. Ohh sorry I forgot about Britney Spears who actually did influence fashion and brought in the low low low rise jeans(soooo hot) and the midriff top. But in all reality fashion and music haven't gone together since the early '90's. What disgusted me is that 1st off I technically have no room to talk when I will fully admit I did purchase a huge white vintagy looking tee at Urban the other day for $38 when i could have walked across the street and prob found a much better one at the Goodwill.

Back to the case here. Sorry Vince, Clu, E & J, and DVF to name a few.....nobody wants your $200 flannels, oversized striped sweaters, cords, or oversized Kurt looking cardi's. And really if you wanted to do that look you would have already had all that stuff anyways. What do i always say are my #1 favorite pieces of clothing? Cardigans. Long cardigans, the rattier looking the better. Well whatever. I hope everyone has fun playing dress up this fall to a time that most people under my age, besides the really fucking cool kids who study music, will know nothing about.

*And MK does it right. Pictured above.

Baby Come On Control Me

WHOA....so I am going to totally half ass this because I know that most of you, including myself, love to hear and watch this shit for 20 minutes a week and then don't want to hear about it for another week. That being said, yep you guessed it, were going to do a quick run through of The Hills season 9,000. Starring Kristin, Brody, Audrina, Ryan Cabrara(seriously Audrina? I mean really now), Steph, Holly, my arch nemesis Lo(sorry but I just cannot stand the girl. She is boring. Very boring), Brody's bff(And who is he again?), and the lovely Mr. and Mrs. Spencer and Heidi Pratt. The last two characters/maybe real life people/lets just hope they are characters cause they scare the shit out of me; are those we will concentrate on this evening. Now please everyone gather and bring your Crystals because were going into the "war zone."

I'm really good at psychology and can usually diagnosis someone within a 2 minute rate. Spencer was a pretty normal nornal guy like the rest of guys in their 20's should be but I believe it was around when Lauren actually started to stand up for herself I saw a change in his behavior. Now for expertise on all of this we would have to bring in my best friend Tera, who is a self admitted Hills addict, to decipher if I am correct but she is unable to help out on this at the moment so let's just take my word. Then I took a hiatus from The Hills because Lauren began to get very boring on me then she brought that really boring Lo on and they were mean to the only cool one on the show, Audrina, so I got sick of all the rich bitch drama. Last year I think I watched it but all I can remember is that they were all mean to Kristen and Brody was dating that transvestite looking girl who I wish I could remember her name. She just didn't seem like a nice person at all. And Justin Bobby was riding around on his motorcycle being a true pimp like always. (Love that kid!)

So now on Final Season, we are truly getting into the deeper and true meaning of what we all call The Hills. It stared months back when we would be in Target looking at the tabloids while in line and seeing Heidi. I immediately jumped to "Why Heidi Why!" I am NOT trying to be mean or disrespectful to anyone who likes Heidi or knows Heidi personally(which I don't think any of my readers do but you never know), but I feel (2 min psyc eval) she has a serious case of body dysmorphia, depersonalization disorder, and let's add 3 dash's of pure crazy. So in the previous season or maybe even the season before that she got her nose and boobs done. I can't judge that with her living in Hollywood and being young with money. BUT at a later date in 2010 she had somehow concluded that if she got a whole new face and body she'd be a very happy person. Having your ears pinned back, new nose job, lipo on her inner thighs(ouch), lipo other places, a big butt implant, eyebrow lift, cheek injections, her chin was shaved down, huge lip injections, and her brand new I don't know how she walks, breasts; could never bring true happiness. I think I got it all but if I don't feel free to add in. The poor girl looks like a whole other girl. Like a porn star-bad facelift-and boobs made for clowns. I really did think she was pretty on the 1st season too. But don't worry she still wants to upgrade those EEE boobs. "I really want them to be like H's for Heidi"

Now onto where the true crazy lies......Spencer Pratt. He began this season with his crystal collection which apparently protects him from almost everything evil the world could bring but in exchange I think Spencer sold his soul because I have NEVER met or seen a person with his type of behaviors. I'll try to do my (2 min psych eval) but I don't even think I can unlock the true madness inside the mind of Spencer Pratt. Let's list a good amount to make sure we get them all........Delusional Disorder, Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, OCD, Depersonalization Disorder, and a large dash of just plain good old psychosis. Okay some of these I cheated on and went under psych disorders and found. The Narcissistic Personality Disorder is great! It's soo Patrick Bateman. Now let's hope Mr. Pratt doesn't turn into a real life Bateman but at this point he's acting soo scary I wouldn't even want to be in the same room. The past few episodes have shown Spencers withdrawal from the social world. He said 2 weeks ago "I don't have a sister. Who said I have a sister. That was in my past life." Then Holly visits The Pratt residence and he begins to "scream at her calling her and Heidi's mother just a vagina that Heidi came out of and that she is nothing to him."

So we know they own $400,000 worth of "magic crystals". "This one is for geniuses. It opens your mind to everything...and helps you to really think when you're in a war zone." Okay what? Please describe what your translation of a War Zone is. The as Heidi sits there with her permanent happy-dumb face, nodding, Spencer tells the gang that "Heidi is allowed no television, no internet, no phones, all shes allowed to do is read and write poetry, pet puppys, and pray."
MUST WATCH

Great Quotes from the Pratts

Spencer Pratt: "I'm trying to live a more positive, holy life, but it takes work. It's hard not sinning, you know?"
Spencer Pratt: "Jesus and I are making the connection."
Heidi Mintage: "Spencer didn't change me. I changed myself"
Spencer Pratt: "Honestly, Brody, I'm worried about you. You're the one showing up to all these events wasted. Maybe you need crystal therapy to sober up. Connect with nature and not the bottle, you drunk."
Spencer Pratt: "I line the windows with crystals, keep bad spirits out but keep Heidi locked in."
Spencer Pratt: “It’s true, I have a Marine in the house. He’s helping me write a script. And yes, we’ve been out of the house only three times this month, but that’s because I’m busy working on several business ventures.”

Alright I'm out....enough talk of this mess.

Hot Like Mexico, Rejoice

*to those who are lucky enough to have never fallen into the facebook black hole and do not have a facebook account, this blog can be skipped over by you. For you are the lucky ones that don't have to look at half assed crap that they create and change to put in our faces everyday on facebook. Thank you.

Dear FB,

We've been friends since 2004 so when I said to my best friend today that I was really about to delete my account, she said "whoa whoa whoa, let's not get crazy here. you can't delete your facebook!" With that said, no I really feel like I do have a super strong connection to you that could not be fulfilled by any other mega queer social networking site, but if you keep pulling these crappy changes on me I just might have to(don't worry guys....I'd keep the fan page up for AWAYA of course.)

Now in 2004 facebook was so simple and delightful. You signed on to your page and you could only join groups that were from your university and to sign up you had to go through your college email to do so. It was very safe and cool. You know no randoms were going to get to you. As we moved forward facebook progressed but still went to your page when you signed on and now you could add friends from different schools and you could be in groups from all over the world. But slowly facebook went downhill. 1st bad move on their part......they invited high school kids to be able to join. Very stupid. And they developed a horrible opening page which they called the "News Feed." Basically what this so called news feed was was basically a stalkers paradise. All your crushes, bf, and ex bf's status's on one page. Totally not cool. This is when people started to fall into the "fb black hole". With all this news feed info bouncing around in your brain you found it completely necessary to click on everyones page and look at wall posts, groups, and photos until you could see straight anymore. When you called your friends they were obviously on facebook. If they weren't on facebook they were obviously talking about gossip that they saw on the news feed. Or, the worst of worst, they were crying because there crush had just changed his status to "In A Relationship". Yes these are all true stories and I KNOW you all know what I am talking about!
My other HUGEEEEE issue is the facebook suggesting friends and pages to you. That was bad but I took it. Now it suggests that you look at your friends old photo albums! Like why in the hell would I was to look at a random friends album from 3 years ago!!!!! I don't think so. Or the best is is that FB tries to make you write messages or write on the walls of the friends that you barely speak to. They like to call it "reconnecting", I like to call it garbage. The whole system going on over on the top right side on the home page is garbage! I don't care is I have 58 friends in common with a person. I still prob don't know them. I went to a school with 26,000 other kids! Moving on.

Now, like last week I think, they thought it would be cool to just make us "Like"(btw WTF is "like" all about" everything and anything we had written in our profile. Now that was just NOT COOL fb, NOT COOL. Then I don't know where in the hell the cool groups I used to belong to went. Ohh wait I found them. They are on my homepage, not even in my profile anymore for anyone to see. Then to make everything even worse is a total F'd up move they did a few months ago. Now we can't even use the privacy to say what we want going up on our wall or not. So everytime you "add a friend", "comment on a photo", "write on someones wall", or breath!!!!! it is recorded to your wall.

I think it's time this all stops. There are NO age limits, No college email limits, and the worst is that even Parents are now talking about and joining Facebook. Just not cool, not cool at all. Everyone should just do Twitter. I actually prefer it. You tweet quotes to yourself or write FML 20 times a day, tweet to celebs, and Post pictures of car doors or whatever. And NO ONE EVER BOTHERS YOU!!!! Because they can't because no one can write on your page! It's amazing. follow my sweet ass @sarahhollock and you'll see how joyous this is. If anyone reads this that is a part of the FB team I just want to let you know that you have created a MONSTER. Thanks!

It's Too Darn Hot!

So it's May 11th(ok technically May 12th but I haven't gotten there yet) and I am just doing Must Haves of May. Sorry for the delay but you know all the drama and business that's been occurring lately. Please excuse. So let's get to it!

10. Nobody's Daughter by Hole. It's classic Courtney. It's not her best work but if you are a longtime Ms. Love fan than it is a must have for your collection. Better yet you want to try to hit up one of Courtney's gigs when she's in your area. Girl is a hell of a performer which I'm sure you all know. Now off to Courtney's nemesis these days; the young and talented rocker.........

9. The Pretty Reckless starring Taylor Momsen. Courtney has been snapping at Ms. Momsen for a while now about her image and her musical influences. I think Courtney needs to take a step back and admire the fact that Momsen is, in her own little way, imitating the successful Ms. Love. Imitation is always the most sincere form of flattery. We all know I love rock and grunge and Taylor is doing an exceptional job. Please go take a look at her website, listen to a few things, and see for yourself. In my eyes I think she is going to do extremely well. But Taylor.....never never say "I really want to be like Kurt" ever again. That's really sweet but he is not living. At least you didn't say "Kurt Cobain is my ideal boyfriend", like that skanky Miley girl did. http://www.theprettyreckless.com/splash/

8. The Brides of May. Best of luck to you all. Be beautiful and bring your own style into your day. This is supposedly the "best day of your life" so make sure you take all of it in and relax. And most importantly......do not drink alcohol! We have all seen what a stirr that causes. To Ms. Bowden, Ms. Patrinos, and Ms. Flamino, I wish I could be with you all on this last weekend of May. I will in my heart and Ms. Bowden we are going to have the time of our lives. Congrats Tera, Lara, and Ash!

7. The One Piece Swimsuit. If you don't feel like showing it all off this summer in a teeny bikini, don't fret....you have options. I actually just purchased one my self! But it was returned because I do not need another swimsuit in my life when I barely go out in the sun(we'll have a whole blog about that!). Here are some great places where I found GREAT one piece suits-Anthropologie, Juicy(so cute), and Target(the Zac Posen for Target line.) Let talk about the Posen line 1st. Amazing but only amazing if you have the hottest bod around! That's the sucky part. Due to this being a high end line for a low end store they still do the same cuts as they usually would. Very skimpy in the behind area. I personally LOVEDDDD it but I kinda felt like I was almost wearing a thong. Moving on. Anthroplogie. One of my girlfriends found 2 gorge one pieces from them. Very covering as well. Juicy. Juicy is a great in between model. If you don't want to cover up too much but you still don't want a bikini then these one pieces may be perfect for you. P.S. Never go swimsuit shopping after a night of eating and drinking. Just don't.

6. Bows. Last year I was wearing huge flowers in my hair at this time and this year I am wearing huge bows. This is a trend. If you do not feel comfortable rocking out a huge bow whether it be on your head or on your shoes, then simply don't attempt it. You have to go into this one with confidence. I adore the bow but I've always adored the bow so putting a headband on me with a floppy bow the size of my head isn't going to bother me. But I know it does bother most. What you can do to still be able to use this but not be self conscious is get a new bag with a bow on it. That is a simple way to express that you know whats gong on in the fashion world but are a simple girl. Pictured above is a lovely Valentino handbag. This is perfect. Or if you've ever seen the huge clutch that is just one gigantic bow that Vanentino does as well, that will work too. have fun with this!

5. Eyelash Extentions. I said it last month and I'll say it again. Eyelash extensions are it. And absolutely perfect for wedding season. Find a salon or spa near you that can fit your needs. And don't ever look at anyone on TV(even all the reality people) and think that their lashes are real. NO one has real lashes or hair right now. Everyone is a fake mess! I approve of lashes and hair but that's where I put an end to the madness out there! Cost=I have no f'ing clue.

4. Nude. It's all about the color nude. Love it. If not you need to learn to love it because it's hot and I said so. 1st-Nude colored Loubitons. These entend the leg in length where boys and girls will be dropping their jaws everytime you walk past. Since some of us cannot afford Loubitons(me), settle for a line such as BCBG MaxAzria. Max Azria has amazing amazing shoes which look very expensive. So instead of paying $795 for Loubs prepare to Spend about $225 for Max Azrias. It's worth it. And to go with those yummy long legs(please look at the photo of Taylor on the fan page) you will need yummy long long fingers! Chanel's spring polish in Django is worth every penny. I drool everytime I apply it I love it so much.

3. Rafael Nadal. It's Clay season as we all better know! And with that let me bring you the king of clay himself.....Mr. Rafael Nadal. Not only is Rafa a hot piece but he is also a world class tennis player and all around guy. BTW Rafa is kicking butt right now and has won everything over in Europe in the ATP tournament. Let's wish him luck this week in Madrid. XO hottie!

2. Attn: all hot boys and hot girls. Hello it's time to get your summer fling on! Do I need say more. P.S. I'm actually single so whoever gets to me 1st gets a kiss. x

1. Best Friends. Obviously

Peace & Love

Last Dance With Mary Jane

Can there be such a thing as Benedryl withdrawal? If so, I totally have it. I am going on my 3rd night without without one of my dearest sleeping helpers and I am not liking it one bit. Benedryl and I have been together since Feb. of '07. It added an extra little kick to my klonopin everynight and would really usually help me get a whole nights worth of sleep. One time I had left my bottle of Benedryl tablets at a friends house when I lived in the Southside. My roomate and I were looking up and down throughout the apartment because I was on the verge on a Benedryl breakdown. Finally I remembered it was at my friends house and I drove those 10 blocks as fast as I could just to grab the bottle from him who though I was absolutely nuts. Hey but everyone knows how it is when your addicted to something.......you have to have it NOW!

I have also suggested this method to almost everyone who comes to me with sleeping problems. Since I am the Queen, I pretty much know all and if you can't get the good stuff all you're left with is OTC sleep aids. These drugs, I believe, leave you tired and weary the next day. But not Benedryl, for it is just fantastic! One of my best friends and I just shortened the name to "the Dryl". At least that's all she needs for sleep unlike myself where this "dryl" is just added to my sleeping potion I have designed over the years. Now even though I have a potion that would knock out a 800 pound man, I still am human and have sleepless nights. When these occur I throw a fit and get completely flustered thinking that it will become a regular action. See now there were about 3 months where I was took my sleeping potion to a whole new level and STILL couldn't sleep. This would drive anyone mad. And then right in the middle of my master potion plan Heath Ledger had passed away from a sleeping potion he made his own. I was threatened by several friends to quit because my potion was almost identical to Heaths. So then I got scared as well and took one of the ingredients out.

Now why I am writing this today is because I actually got a withdrawal sign this evening while shopping at Anthropologie. I was in line and all the sudden I started to sweat immensely. I tried to shake it off but just couldn't so I fast tracked it out of there and ran to the Panara a few shops down. I was seeing double by this point and ordered a small drink as fast as I could. Thank goodness to the Coke and the sitting I began to feel a tiny bit better but then it came back with avenges. I was soo embarrassed that I may have to use the Panara bathroom to throw up from lack of Benedryl. But don't fret guys, I hung in there and even though I was drenched in sweat and looked like I had just gone through war, I made it back to Anthropologie to purchase my goods. I mean gosh though you would have thought I was withdrawling from Vicoden or Xanax. Not fun! So if anybody knows if there is withdrawal from OTC Benedryl, I would be more than happy if you could let me know because I cannot come up with any other conclusions to my hot mess of an evening!

Peace & Love

Silicone, Saline, Poisen, Inject Me

I don't watch TV much but I often find myself watching the trashy shows with Dr. Phil. Sex rehab, celeb rehab, and sober house have been catching my eye.(with the help of my friend Michelle who basically lives for this stuff. Today we are just going to talk about one specific person but I think they are all very interesting people, to say the least.

Her name: Kari Ann Peniche. To me, Keri Ann adds all the excitement in this f'd up mess.....Kari Ann Peniche! Below is a brief little bio because really what do we know about Keri Ann besides she currently hold the title of crazy meth queen. Really crazy meth queen!

Okay she was born and 1984 and was a pageant girl. That's what I'm getting for profession and career. Okay whatever let's move onto the good stuff.....
In September 2006 Aaron Carter, then 18 years old, proposed to Peniche while they were onstage in Las Vegas, Nevada. They had known each other five days. Peniche, who had previously dated his older brother Nick, agreed. The engagement was broken off six days later. On August 17, 2009, a home video was posted on the website Gawker that showed Peniche with married couple and actors Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart. All three are naked, though the video does not contain any sexual acts. Starting in November 2009, Peniche appeared as a patient on the VH1 television show Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew, a documentary series about the treatment process for sexual addiction (filmed in April 2009) at the Pasadena Recovery Center (PRC). Peniche described herself as having hundreds of lovers, but being unable to emotionally connect with anyone or have any kind of relationship. Peniche's participation in the treatment program was marred by her aggressive and erratic behavior; verbally abusing the staff and other patients, refusing to participate in group discussions or obey rules, and voicing various bizarre or paranoid ideations, such as that people were laughing at her when they clearly weren't and smiling uncontrollably even when she was angry or discussing very sad topics. Dr. Pinsky, the treating physician, became suspicious that she was using illicit substances such as methamphetamine or had been prior to being admitted, and the staff psychiatrist diagnosed her as having Borderline Personality Disorder. It was indicated that both conditions require treatment before any treatment can be done for sexual addiction.[15] Eventually, her behavior became so disruptive to the program that Dr. Pinsky was forced to discharge her involuntarily. Pinsky offered her an alternative program at a psychiatric hospital nearby, but she refused.[16][17] Her reaction to this perceived rejection was severe: she resorting to verbally abusing staff members and making suicidal gestures. A PE Team had to be summoned with the police for a possible involuntary psychiatric hold, but this was determined to be unnecessary. Peniche left the Pasadena Recovery Center, but threw a bottle of water at resident technician Shelley Sprague as she exited the program.

Later, during production of the third season of Celebrity Rehab, Peniche contacted Pinsky, asking for help. Pinsky explains that her aggressive behavior during Sex Rehab was derived from drugs she smuggled in a teddy bear, and which were difficult to detect during drug testing because of the medication Peniche took for attention deficit disorder. Pinsky went to her residence, where Peniche showed him the crystal meth she was using. She was shown returning to the Pasadena Recovery Center (PRC) at the end of that season's fourth episode. GREAT stuff! I personally love Keri Ann. She may be temperamental at times and act absolutely insane at others, but I believe she is just a troubled girl who really needs her family! Where are they? The borderline personality disorder also adds a lot to why she acts the way she does and the fact that she has been using Meth really makes the spark in her character. If you use for a long time you're going to have a horrible time coming down and facing life soberly again. I guess that's what this sober house is about. We had out own version of "Keri Ann" when I was in my place of rehabilitation. The girl was awfully mean to us but I knew she had a good heart and was just going through a lot of horrible things.

My favorite is when Keri Ann enters the Sober House, fails her drug test, and then swears she didn't do it and starts throwing on of her classic fits. I wish the best for her and also wish her a clean and healthy lifestyle. Getting off drugs isn't easy kids so when you watch these shows and see the trama that occurs, just remember that.

We Can Make it a Freakshow, Freak, Freakshow

Bored late at night? Have insomnia? Or do you happen to work in a cube and play on the internet all day? Either way it doesn't matter because good entertainment awaits you. This is why I love Twiitter. It's soo f'ing dramatic it's fabulous. Follow these instructions and I promise you will get a laugh or 1000.

Follow @CourtneyLoveUK Now she on her own can be great entertainment but for the past 3 days she's been a tad out of control with the tweetng but whatever. *sidenote-You will never know what she is trying to get across. Main characters include Kurt, Billy, Edward Norton, and Her daughter Francis Bean who she does not have custody of at the time.

Follow @FairNewsSpears This person is great. 1st off I guess Britney and Courtney share the same lawyers so this girl is ALL OVER both the conservator case and the Kurt case. The best is she is just a journalism student. Courtney Love Cobain, in true fashion, really believes that this girl can help her case. So in all reality she should be called @FairNewsSpearsLove

And the best I saved for last.......drumroll please Sam Lutfi!!! Follow @SamLutfi and you can be entertained very well. He is also bff with Courtney all the sudden and she thinks that he could save Britney. And Sam still lives in the past and talks openly about Britney and her awful parental(I do agree with him on the awful parents part) with stories from 2006-2007.

With these three intertwined, all is great in Twitterland! Ohh and someone really called Sam Lutfi a hero? Humm last time I heard from you Sam I think you were let her talk in British full time, his phones from her, and was her "manager." Now all we need is Adnan, whom I'm sure Courtney will love too, and the picture would be complete!

Peace, Love, & Tweets,

Show Me Your Teeth

I feel like discussing fashion right now. You see I've been on a huge shopping spree(ok ok I lied it wasn't huge, I'm not rich, I just got my tax return and ya know it was time to spend since the Blizzard held me back last week). Let's just start with things I purchased. A strapless black crazy bird looking ripped up dress. It's fucking fabulous. I have been with Elizabeth and James from the beginning and I must say they are taking their pieces to a new level. When we 1st started getting E&J in winter '07 the line was basically an Olsen Twin. I was immediately in love. Gosh I can't remember my 1st piece from the line???? Humm I believe it was a white tee with a side pocket on the right. Ripped and used looking. Think Mary-Kate. But as I watch the line evolve I now see STAPLE pieces. FABULOUS staple pieces. Romantic blouses, tailored coats, and classic cocktail dresses with a twist. Over the past 4 years the line has, in fact, changed. Went from more of a rugged rock & roll look to a chic saavy rock & roll look. Anyways LOVE the line, always have and always will. Go on now and get your Elizabeth and James on!

And then I went on a search for a perfect pair of new jeans! I hate jeans actually and would rather wear a dress with ripped tights any day but you have to have jeans soooo....I tried a lot but finally settled on a great pair of J BRAND Denim Legging Low-Rise Skinny Leg jeans hahahaha. There is all the info on the fabulous piece of denim! Style # 901. Get them. You won't regret it. They make your ass look stunning and that's a promise(well you have to have a nice ass to begin with but you get the idea). I would have never thought to buy these great Denim Leggings if I hadn't purchased my 1st of Joe's Black Legging Pants, which I throw on literally everyday. So is you are behind on the new look(some bitch actually thanked me for being ahead on the trend. Duh!), I would suggest starting with the Joe's because they are a gift from God and then really just go and try on all the new delishious denim out there. These worked for me but maybe not for you.

And last I picked up a grungy looking tank dress by House of Gods. This line is dedicated to projecting rock and roll icons onto clothes. I love it! I love music, I dig the look of this line, and I just can't express how fond of it I am. So my dress has Iggy Pop on the front and his name on the back. It's done in a black, white, and grey. Although they are of course attached, the look of the dress is a black ripped up tank dress underneath and a smaller white distressed tank dress over top. Simply fab. I just tried it on with black fishnets and these amazing boots I purchased at PUMA. Just add some fun chain jewelry and a neon green Balenciaga and your good to go!

Be creative. Make your own style. Be yourself. And have fun with it. And if you have any questions I'm here for ya.

Peace & Love

But I'm a Creep, I'm a Wierdo

How does music influence fashion? Why do we try to recreate the look of what we love to listen to and the artist's style? Well.....cause music makes the world go round!!! That's always been my view on music since I was young because I truly believe it does. What the hell would we do if we had nothing to sing and dance too, to cry to, or to just go nuts to? It would be a very dull world but what I would like to propose is that fashion and music go hand in hand. It's like peanut butter and jelly. It just works.

So let's begin with the early 80's. Wow bad bad bad fashion there! But I totally rocked it out with my bad ass little self. I thought I was Madonna so I usually dressed like her when I was little. Outfits from "like a virgin", and "material girl" were my favorites. But the best part is is that EVERYONE dressed like Madonna. She literally changed the world of fashion in her day. It's soo awesome if you think about it. She originated these crazy outfits and everyone just followed. Lace gloves, bustiers, black lace leggings, puffy chiffon skirts, and tons and tons of pearls!!!! Michael Jackson did a good job with the boys as well. Here's to the king and queen of pop!

And then came the New Kids on the Block phase. I call this the "lets see how many neon colors we can put on at one time" phase!!! Neon yellow, hot pink, neon green, and electric blue were a must have in your wardrobe. Along with side ponytails, scrunchies, and neon nail polish. And we all would pile it on and go hit up the NKOTB concerts with our mothers in tow. Us kids thought we were just wayyyyy "to cool for school" haha! All the little boys wore there leather jackets and tried to be like Joey. Ohh those were great years. The bangs were teased and hair was crimped as well. Rock it out!

The next phase was the one my parents truely wanted to murder me. We went from wanting to look like pretty girls and boys to dirty undone girls and boys. The grunge phase. We shopped at goodwill, adorned black nails, had crazy hair colors, and only wore Converse or Doc Martin sneakers. Or the classic Billy Corgan "ZERO" tee. A typical outfit in this time matched EXACTLY what we were listening to. It was the great days of Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Bush, R.E.M, Hole, etc, ect! And we LOVEDDDDD it all. Flannel shirts, angora men's cardigans, band tee's, a different color in my hair every day by dying it everynight with Kool-Aid(by the way that was awesome!), corduroy pants, and black converses. We sang to the music of SP's "today", and cried for a week when Kurt Cobain had died. And I hate to say it but after this music started to go downhill.

For 9th and 10th grade it was all about techno and raves, psychedelic drugs, and strobing lights. Jenga jeans, van sneakers, bright colored toped, and huge hoodies. We also started to experiment with insane looking tights. Just like the ones that we are wearing this year. Colored fishnets, pink opaque, and orange....I remember wearing a lot of orange tights. Silver mini skirts, the Delia's catalogue(don't act like you didn't order everything from that thing!), and mary janes with striped knee socks. Awesome man! I had red hair at this time as well. I had a friend color it perminitly and came home and was grounded for weeks but it was cool because I thought I looked freaking sweet!

Just a side note-For the past phases, Grunge and Techno, I was in schools for the Creative and Performing arts. We were dramatic people so we did everything over the top and very drastically. We owned the way we dressed and let it speak for us. It was art.

Okay now the next phase, I know every normal teenage girl went through. The Pop Princess phase. Just think Britney, Christina, and Jessica. Whatever they wore, we wore. That plain and simple. From the belly tops to the rhinestone body jewelry. It was hot and we were young and thought we looked mega hot as well. My senior photos were quite a crisis as I look back. One of the outfits consisted of white jeans, nike sneakers, and a XOXO top that was white and pink chiffon that I made into a belly top. And my pose was right out of the "Sometimes" video. Wow!!! haha. Now unfortunetly I copied every look that Brit did up until the end of college. BUT.....we also can't forget that around that same time it was also really cool to wear Baby Phat, Sean John, and all those other rap labels. The days of Juvenile, Nelly, and Eminen. Pretty cool people dudes to steal their style from.

As I am all grown up, I have developed my own personal style. But I do have a an itch to dress like Lady Gaga from time to time which I must admit, I do it quite well. That is about all but I would love to hear what your huge influences were! Pearl Jam? Weezer? Hole? Lil' Kim? Jay-Z? N'SYNC? Aaliaya?

And this is why music makes the world go round! Now go grab an old school album and go through the times.

Peace & Love

Boys Like You Love Me Forever

This past week I took a lovely vaca down south to Charlotte, NC. And the boys were everywhere!!! Now I have TONS of experience with crazy bf's and dates but this guy took the cake. He proved to me that he was the craziest of crazy, leading him into what I and Vince Vaughn call a stage 5 clinger! We had met on Wednesday and he was cool, played guitar and sang in a band, had dark eyes.....pretty much all the things I like, so when he called the next day and invited me to dinner then to see him play I accepted. Boy I sure didn't know what I was getting into!!!

My ex boyfriend from the band Filter was kinda the same way. Told me he loved me after 2 weeks, called and text "I miss you" a few times everyday while on tour, and clinged to my every word and displayed major PDA. Maybe this is a musician thing.....I don't know. Now the stage 5 clinger, whom we'll call "J", makes my Filter boyfriend seem like a normal boy. Now dinner with J went smooth. We had a lot in common and mainly talked about the arts, performing and visual. It was great to find someone who shared the same thoughts on many subjects. Afterwards we went to the venue and I watched him play. Everything was still going smooth. After the set was over is when shit started to go down. Guys, DO NOT EVER attempt any of these moves on a 1st date!!!

1. Shoving your tongue down my throat in front of a dozen people watching us.
2. Have to hold my hand at all times.
3. Telling me that I am making him jealous when dancing with one of his friends.
4. Constantly confessing to me that I am the most beautiful girl in the world.
5. Introduce your dog to me as the dogs mother!!!
6. Call me your girlfriend.
7. Telling all your friends that you have "found the one."
8. Asking me to move in after only knowing me for 36 hours!!!
9. Telling me and others that we are going to get married.
10. Staring at me intensely and drooling at the mouth.
11. Texting me "I miss you baby" with a frowning face only 45 minutes since I've seen you. And then calling on repeat since I did not respond.
12. Call from different numbers so I'll pick up not thinking it's him. (Such a girl move!)

And the worst of the worst I have ever experienced; Planning out the holidays so we can both spend time with both families!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay I am throwing up in my mouth a little just recalled this hot mess disaster. Now boys.....we like you because you are supposed to be masculine, not a wimpy desperate chick! And girls watch out. If it can happen to me this means it can happen to you too. I didn't know these clingers existed but they are out there and they are scary! Watch out because they do not give the crazy vibe until an hour in. If this happens to me again, or any of you girls, leave where ever you are asap. This is a serious situation that will leave you scarred.

For the rest of my vaca I hung out with the HOTTEST 20 year that looked like he had just stepped of the set of Gossip Girl. And it was soo refreshing to not hear from him every minute of everyday! He kept it fun and sexy, not clingy. Now that's the way to go!

Peace and Love
