And I Need A Vacation Tonight

Okay so I have a new song addiction. Go ahead and take a guess??? She's my absolute favorite performer since I was 17, she's gorgeous, and she always has the best choreography and is one of the most talented dancers (pop style wise) that I have ever seen. Humm who could it be? Would you Hold It Against Me if i didn't tell you????? Okay one more clue....... Her 1st album debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 and was certified two-times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America after just one month!!!

It's Britney Bitch

Right now Britney has recently released her new single for her 8th studio album!!! Get excited!!! And it is called "Hold it Against Me". It's a totally new sound for Britters......well actually it takes me back to some of the tracks from "In the Zone" and "Blackout"-both being my 2 favorite Britney albums. It's a terrific dance song but it's not like BOMT or Slave 4 U. It's definitely more techno with the beats and rhythm. She has stated that she is "Very proud and In Love with her new album " , which makes me even more excited! I have to admit though that even though I adore Hold It Against Me, there is just something that's missing I feel like. I'm the BIGGEST Brit fan you will ever meet so I am not taking her down or anything. I actually believe this video is going to be EXCEPTIONAL. The whole part from around 2:30-3:15 is just beats. It's awesome. I already have choreography in my head for that section imparticular.

Question is, although we all will probably end up adoring this album and thrilled that the pop queen is rocking it again, will it equal up to let's just say Blackout? Blackout was my and many many many others my age, favorite album. Yes, she was going through a manic psychosis at the time(I believe), but I think that's what made it soo fucking good! All the best shit comes out when you are going through something. I still listen to that entire, not skipping a single song, album all the time. Hold It Against Me is more on the Blackout side than the Circus side so I do hope it is all crazy dance music with awesome lyrics. "Get Naked" is one of my loves.

I think this album is going to be a great success but what I really wish more than anything for her is freedom. The ability to have a life again. Although she unfortunately will never lead a traditional everyday life like most, she does deserve the ability to do everything else that a normal 29 year old would do. I could go on and on about this because it makes me sick that she lives under a conservatorship but I'll quit now. Everyday though when you walk out to your car to go to a friends or to dance class, work, etc., just remember Britney can't do that. How would you deal?

What is your favorite Britney Album and Single?

Shorty is a Eenie, Meenie, Miney, Mo, Lova-Part 2

Where I left off........which I'm speaking of when I was still talking about the 2010 AMA's, I think I just finished off on what a great night our little J. Beiber had, and he did. Congrats doll! Now on with the show!

I actually missed a couple of the performances but did make it to see the second half. The only person I truly cared to see was my girl, Taylor Swift but before I caught her, I saw Rhianna open the show. I actually really like that song that she sang for the second half of her performance. I have no idea the name because I won't lie, I'm not really a huge Rhianna follower. I do(most of the time) love her style and right now I am MAJORLY OBSESSED with her hair. Ever since she added extensions and colored it that crazy bright bright red, I've loved her. I was sooo over that short man hair cut she had going on. Ohh and I did have a thing for Disturbia. I think I spent a month listening to it on repeat. Bible. I did not like her outfit tonight or her backup dancers. She looked way cuter in the crown and white tutu get up she wore for the VMA's with Em. And then the next time I saw the television Ms. Taylor was coming on.

Can we say GORGEOUS!!!! I love Taylor no matter what her hair, make up, and clothes are doing but man she must have hired a killer stylist for this evening because it was a brand new Taylor. Enough about that though. Once again I think EVERYONES vocals sounded a lil off tonight so just putting it all on Taylor and having people talk about her singing live like they did at the CMA's, let's just say she did a great job with what she had to work with. She sang "Back to December", which is a love song about changing your mind about dating someone and then going back and looking at it and think like 'what was I thinking? I do really like him. Why did I do that?' I do this alot because I can never make up my mind and not saying I have commitment issues, because I don't believe I do, but I always do leave a lot of relationships due to me over analysing everything about it. I totally get this song, just like I get every other one of Taylor's songs. The song is about Taylor Laughtner, that kid from the vampire movies. Along with "Back to December", "Story of Us" is also about Mr. Laughtner. I don't believe the two dated. maybe they talked on the phone and held hands once or twice but hey you know how young love is at that age. Very dramatic. (I think he's 18 and she's 21) She wore a Black Suit and her hair slicked back in a straight ponytail with long bangs and played and sang at the piano, got up to do a brief rendition of "Appologize" then finished. Beautiful performance.

Next I got to see that trashy girl that I think should be banned from kids under 18. Her name is Ke$ha. Well Kesha once again you looked and performed(or whatever she were trying to do) very poorly. She had on the eye goggles that had bright lights in them and the stage was set up like it was a club and her dancers sucked and it was just one big hot hot mess! How this chick is popular, I just don't know. Alright can't talk about her anymore. I'm going to barf if I do.

A few more people did their thing(Xtina, Usher, some people I've never heard of before). Nothing and no one great. The only thing that even gave the show a little pizazz was the Backstreet/NKOTB performance. The highlight of my night was getting to stare at Gavin Rossdale(can Bush get back together and tour again please?) for a good 5 minutes. Damn that man is hot. I've loved him since well whenever Sixteen Stone came out. Hot, hot, hot. Overall I give this awards show a 1 1/2 stars for lack of good performers. Personally I think we need to take it back and remember when performances were really freaking cool or history making. I haven't seen a memorable performance in years and that pains me because I live for this.

Like hey Justin Timerlake, why do you have to tease us with the AMAZING "Future Sex/Love Sounds" album, and all the incredible performances that came with it then just dip out for like 4 years? Really though J, how are you gonna bring SEXYBACK and then just dip. Not cool. Chris Brown......I don't really care anymore that you assaulted your gf. I miss your dancing. It was right up there with MJ's! Britney, listen I know your fathers a dick and wants to keep you under lock and key forever but you have to break free. Find those medical records of yours, erase it all, and give it to the judge and say you're cool again. You never never left us disappointed. I can't think of one performance you did that wasn't memorable. Even that VMA "Gimme More" performance, the one where you took like 20 tequila shots on top of who knows what kind of meds Sam Lufti fed you that day, it was still quite entertaining! Please come back and no more marking the choreography. Full out Britney, full out! The rest of my favorite entertaining peeps are either dead, band is no longer together, or just don't do sell out award shows like this.

Speaking of someone who was missing tonight because he would never perform at this shit was Eminem. It really was kinda like a teeny bopper show. He and Lil Weezy would have looked a lil out of place and way too cool up there rapping "No Love". The worst is that Beiber won everything over Em. Ohh kids......one of these days you'll learn what a genius Eminem is(Beiber has been listening to Em since he was 3 supposedly. I would hope not cause he's real f'd in the head if he has. I mean we do have to admit Eminem is not the most sane person out there) but until then I totally understand your love for the Beibs. I even watched his video a few times for the "baby baby baby" song. So cute. And everyone is rocking the Beiber haircut. Hell, if I was 15 I would totally be in love with this kid too. But I'm older so I will wish him the best and watch his kick ass performances. He does remind me of a future JT. But if I were to vote I would obviously be voting for the album that I probably wrote at least 10 blogs about, Recovery.

Tonight was kinda like a huge wake up call that we need something to happen in music because it's pretty dead right now. Rap scene is pretty hot(Em, kanye, jay, Dre Weezy) but other than that in all truthfulness, T. Swizzle and Beiber is the best we've got. And Taylor doesn't dance so that moves her down a spot. I do have MASSIVE hope and faith in the band "The Pretty Reckless". The 1st album is amazing and I wish they weren't so new so they could be out there but they are still in the promo phase. Definetly check them out though. I post them a lot. Hope you all enjoyed them and hope you enjoyed my trip down, what was actually good music, lane.

For the LOVE of Music

As you grow you go through many many phases. I, as well as a lot of others, was heavily influenced by music. Music was my life and music still is my life. Live performances and going to shows and concerts are my favorite and it does alter my life. But as I grew up, the power of music and the icons that created it, all took for for a run. And what a ride it was....
In my childhood there were 3 major music periods that really influenced me. 1st being Madonna and Michael. I didn't really care if I was 3 or 4 cause I had my fake wedding dress on and was rolling around the living room performing "Like a Virgin" like there was no tomorrow. My mother told me that my Dad would practically die everytime I did this. But it's all good because I would switch off to "Material Girl" as well. She was soooo cool and I wanted to be her!

Michael.....well where do I begin? I mean who doesn't remember Michael all throughout their childhood. He was embedding in my head and I was soo intrigued by his dancing. Even though I knew by know I wanted to be a dancer, I will say that I do think Michael had an influence. I even remember the day his double disc, "Michael Jackson - HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book", came out with "Scream" on it. And man did I worship that CD. I was older than too. Probably like 12/13?? All I can say is that I feel very happy to have grown up when I did(even though I wish it was the late 60's but whatever) because I had REALLY FREAKING AMAZING musical artists to watch and learn from. And yes of course I was OBSESSED with NKOTB, along with every other girl. That was phase/period 1.

The 2nd musical period that greatly influenced me and made me grow as a person was the Alternative Rock/Grunge phase in the early-mid 90's. This is still the music I listen to now. I don't know what it was about it or if it was just how just insanely talented these musicians were, the lyrics, the whole package. It even changed fashion at the time. I never shopped anywhere but the Goodwill for a good 3-4 years. The time I am speaking of is a time that I'm sure all of you remember greatly as well. The time Kurt Cobain ended his life, Billy Corgan told us the 'world is a vampire', Bush had us screaming 'breathe in, breathe out, Weezer entertained us with the unforgettable video to 'Buddy Holly', NIN had us come 'closer'(that video was banned and only played after midnight on MTV. Do you remember that?), Hole with Courtney Love(still the queen of rock) having us grieve over Kurt to the album 'Live Through This', and all the while we were jumping up and down, banging our heads, in these things called Mosh Pits.

I do believe that after this music died in a way. Can you really think of anything that can even try to compare now? It's sad in a way. I wish I would live it all, all over again. BTW, my favorite song ever, up until this day and probably until I die, is Nirvana's 'Dumb'.

Then there was a pause and nothing really great was happening. We got into rap with Biggie, 2Pac, Puff Daddy, Snoop and Dr. Dre. They were the kings now and had a HUGE influence not only on us kids but on the whole nation.

Gangs began again in a big way, Biggie got shot, 2Pac got attacked by Suge Knight and his fellow Crips(no one will accept the fact that he is dead so I'll just say 'he went away for a long time'), Puff daddy changed his name 45 times, and Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg made an album that would forever change the rap world, "The Cronic". This had really not to much of any impact on me, but I mean who didn't listen to Biggie, 2Pac, and Puffy? You'd be lying if you hadn't. Now what period I want to get to is the late 90's.

All the sudden pop music came back. And it came back in a huge way. Boy bands came back. We had N'Sync, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson(well she tried), and the pop princess herself....Ms. Britney Spears. You either liked N'sync or the Backstreet Boys. Couldn't like Both. It was either Nick from BSB or Justin from N'sync. Had to be loyal to your pop imaginary bf. I think 98 degrees was up for grabs but there were some chicks who really dug Nick. I found this group of 5 guys called N'Sync singing and dancing away on the Disney channel one evening. It was love at 1st sight. Not only with their music but also with Justin. I claimed him. Hahahahaha omgoodness this sounds sooo silly but in high school this was important stuff.

I threw in a videotape and taped the rest of the show. It believe it was right afterwards a girl came on my age with the same type of Disney Special. It was Britney Spears at 17. After that I spent my days and nights learning all of the choreography of N'Sync as well as Britney's. They MAJORLY changed the direction I wanted to go in the dance world. Up until then I had been studying about 25+ hours a week to become a ballerina, now I was seeing a whole new thing and it was a blast and sooooo much different than the world of ballet. And although I strived on the pain ballet gave me and the control it gave me and the competitiveness to always be the best, I made this 'pop dancing' thing something fun on the side to do while not in the studio. Well and then I fell in love with it and decided I wanted to switch my main technique over to this kind of dancing. I began looking for how to get into this and discovered within a day or two basically all the auditions came out of LA a small portion out of NYC.

Well that wasn't an option at 17 so I just kept practicing and learning each new piece of choreography until it was perfect, just like I thought Britney was. So there we all were, these teenage girls going to every pop concert we could and longing to meet our favorite boy band bf. It was actually a really fun time. A really fun time. But it REALLY changed my views on careers and dance. I still don't know if that is a bad or good thing. I think about the choices I made during that period all the time. Also in this time, a role model to me and possibly the best rap artist in history, Eminem came out. That's what the boys were into at the time. They loved him.

Just in Time to See the Bus Fly By

It's the baby....Gia Francesca!!!
It's finally here.....and I'm sure you're wondering just what is finally here! Mario: Saved by the Baby has begun tonight on VH1, 10:30pm est. This is actually a super fun show that goes back to late in the pregnancy of Courtney Mazza and Mario Lopez, showing all the ups and downs and in betweens! See now I am watching this show but don't go on thinking I have changed my ways and havew started watching TV. No sir! Courtney was actually a fellow classmate/dance major with me at Rogers(our middle school), CAPA(our high school), and after school classes at CLO(Civic Light Opera). This is soo great watching her be just as funny as always and boobalicious as always hahaha.

**Julio Cesar Chavez(her freaking ADORABLE pup!)

On this episode we were kind of just introduced to the couple who has been dating like forever now. Court was working on Broadway and Mario came in to do a guest starring role in A Chorus Line and that's how they met. Courtney has one of the best voices in the world but besides the fact that she can sing an opera like there is no tomorrow, there is something else that is my favorite fact about her voice. She can make her voice into any animal or bug that you request her to hahahaha!!! Freaking awesome! I always remember sitting in the hallway warming up and stretching and Court would just start making these crazy loud bird, monkey, rooster, whatever, noises that would echo through the school. Loved it! Anyways besides that she is a very talented girl/woman and even while in high school, won 2 Gene Kelly Awards for Best Actress. Just exceptional on stage. So basically being a fan of this page means that you are legally binded to watch this half hour reality show. And if you're like me and not too keen on reality shows and basically TV in general......just suck it up and do it. I actually LOVE the show and that might also have to do with the fact that I ADORE Courtney and you will too!!! I promise!

MARIO LOPEZ: SAVED BY THE BABY

You're Dangerous, I'm Lovin' It

I cannot believe I haven't gotten a chance to write about what I call the best thing to happen to TV in a long time......Glee's Britney/Brittany episode! 1st off I heard that this was in the making over the summer so you cannot imagine how excited I was when it was finally time to air. We all know Brit's my girl and knowing that she loving being a part of Glee and had a great time on the set made me just sooo happy for her. If you're not up to snuff, Britney still leads a completely controlled life being under restraints of her conservatorship, that mess of a wedding to Kevin, and for a couple years she went absolutely insane. Psychiatric Analysis still unknown but it must be something rotten if she still has to ask her dad for money. This ALWAYS reminds me to "be careful what you wish for". Do you think Britters would have left the scene after her 1st album if she could see into the future and saw what it held for her? I think she would have!

Anyways.....not only is this episode my favorite Glee episode(which is rough because I say every episode is my favorite), but I mean something about made me just want to go crazy and get up and dance!!! It's all the Britney music! It does something to the soul and makes you feel sooo alive again. Episode started off with my girl Brittany(Heather Morris) going under at the dentists and transforms herself in Miss Spears. Now this is when I stopped, dropped my jaw, and said hold up........that girl can dance!!! She did amazing, especially in the chorus sections of 'Slave'. I mean I know that dance down pat and she didn't miss a beat. It's not a very easy one either do to you have to look like you are the sexiest bitch to ever be born! Then she also did a fabulous job singing as Britney as well. A day later i found out that Heather actually moved to LA to dance and starred as one of Beyonce's back up dancers at the AMA's for a performance of "Single Ladies". All in all Heather Morris(Brittany) was the perfect Britney Spears.

Other songs in the episode included "Me Against the Music",(Heather and Santana), "....Baby One More Time", (Lea Michele aka Rachel), and the finale......TOXIC! This was the most humerus, genius, fabulous, talented, performance of toxic that I have ever seen. Basically the whole school gets into this Britney Spears trance and the pep rally while the Glee members perform. They take toxic to a whole new sexy level which I didn't even know was possible. Will is trying to win back Emma like always so he gets in on this performance as well. You must watch Sue's facials as she watches this and her final line about it would make anyone die with laughter. "It's a Britney Spears Sex Riot!!!" Below is the take of Toxic so please enjoy and just for your knowledge, Glee was actually created to keep the Arts in the school systems around the nation so please support the arts because without them we wouldn't have a thing! Okay now go get your GLEEK on!

http://www.fox.com/glee/clip.php?bctag=performance

Just one more tidbit about the impact of this episode.......It came in with the 2nd closest viewers to the finale of Seinfeld. Power of having Brit on your credits!

To All the Happy Peaople, With Real Nice Lives

It's almost my favorite time of the year, and no I am absolutely not talking about football season. It's almost time for the VMA's!!! I look forward to the MTV video music awards every year and this year is looking pretty good performance wise. Unfortunately we won't have Britney who always just freaking brings it and fucks everyone else with her non stop dance performances-minus 2007 when she was having a case of the crazies. But minus Brit, I am really hoping to see some kick ass performances.

And I know I will because, as I mentioned last week, Kanye West is back from 'self centered, alcoholic, touch of the insane' center and is bringing it to us in a few weeks! I'm pumped. I thoroughly enjoyed his last 2 albums. BUT.......this is always the best about Kanye's VMA performances. Ever since I can remember he gets this big huge knock 'em down performances put together and something ALWAYS gets fucked up. He complains like theres no tomorrow, swears he will never come back, and go home. Then the next year who do think is in the main line up......Kanye West. And the exact same thing happens again. And well we don't want to talk about what he did last year but hey he wanted Beyonce to win and he voiced it.....to all of the world. Hey, it added some entertainment. Now the year that they held them in Vegas, I do think where they put Kanye was pretty messed up. His performance was him having to walk through a crowded nightclub set and do 'Stronger'. It was a hot mess and that's one of my fav songs ever. But at least Britney took the cake that year with her opening the show and well it was just sad.

I do not listen to Beyonce but I will say she always does an excellent job. I particularly liked the 'Baby Boy' performance from 2003. Jay-Z, well he always kills it. Black Eyed Peas, Green Day, Rhianna(minus her opening in 2008. Disturbia is up there wit my fav pop songs and well she was just really scary in this and it just didn't work.), Pink, AAR, Chris Brown(sorry but he's still the shit in my eyes. He's untouchable when he is on stage.), Pink, Xtina, and so on are a handful of the VMA regulars and successful artists. Don't worry though because I absolutely did not forget about Madonna, Michael, Snoop, Dre, Janet, Mariah, U2, and other legendary artists. Speaking of legendary artist........did I tell you yet that Britney Spears is the best VMA performer of all time? Ohh ok just thought I'd bring it up again. Another person who just beats everyone else in this game is Justin Timberlake. He's a regular and always seems to be featured on someones track. His 2006 performance with Timbaland I watched on repeat for a good 3 months.

Onto this year. So we have Kanye. And heres to the girl with the most nominations-Lady Gaga. Extremely talented and gifted for sure, but sometimes too insane.....yes! Last year I loved her performance!!! Paparazzi on the piano then she hung herself with a nuse that was magically hanging there and blood started flying out of her eyeballs. I loved it. I love any play, musical, perform ace, ballet, etc where people are hung or wristes are slashes. It's dramatic and extremely artistic. Thumbs up my dear but what will you do this year??? And it better not be with any reference to the Alejandro video. Or Telephone. Everyone was poisoned in that video. I think you should just stear clear and do the into with Alejandro and go straight into a huge performance of Bad Romance. Fingers crossed. I think we have the little baby singing! Justin Beiber! He'll do awesome. Drake. And the ohh so gifted Kesha(cough cough).

But here is where it is really at. It's all about Eminem. He's like Britney in a way, when either of them get on stage it's instant 'awe'. You can't take your eyes off them. They control it and own it. Of course I am thrilled about Eminem, and don't get me wrong, he did very well last year but that wasn't him yet. This is him. He's on top of his shit and really I could not pick one song that he shouldn't sing off his new album Recovery. There is not one even near poorly written or produced track on that album.

Don't fret we'll be talking about this a few more times then it's countdown with my all time favorite performances!

Not That I Don't Like You, I'm Just At A Party

We all now have a fun new way to tell people to stop blowing up our phones my politely telling them to "Stop Telephonin Me. I'm Busy" I like this. Straight to the point with just the right amount of 'tude. What I'm getting to, which I'm sure you can see, is a review of the Telephone video with Lady Gaga feat. Beyonce, in true Sarah Hollock fashion. It will feel like I went behind the scenes and was there for the filming of this 10 minute piece of work because if you weren't there you might watch and by the end just say "damn that Lady Gaga's crazy". That seems to be the usual consensus. Let's start!

Telephone is a fucking awesome track on Gaga's Fame Monster album. It's so kick ass and fun to dance to! Like the lyrics say; she's "Out in the Club, and I'm sippin' that bubb', and your not gonna reach my telephone." "Stop callin', stop callin', I don't wanna talk anymore. I got my head and my heart on the dance floor."
My personal favorite-"Eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh.....Stop telephonin' me!" And the great "Tonight I'm not taking no calls cause I'll be dancing, Cause I'll be dancing, Cause I'll be dancing!"

With this being said you think a traditional club video with lots of champagne bottles would fit the bill, right? Absolutely not people! Gaga, like normal, decided to think way outside of the box on this one and came up with a glorious "Thelma & Louise" themed party for her and Honey B.

Now since I consider myself a veteran on this video, I have officially wasted 80 minutes of my life watching the performance since the Thursday evening premiere. I will also say 1st and foremost.....this is NOT my favorite Lady Gaga video and no Lady Gaga will never have Britney like videos. I had to mention that because I kept seeing that as a trend on blogs and comments about the video stating that "She'll never be as good as Britney." "She ain't Britney." or "I like Britney's videos better." Whoa okay now......after just writing all those britney quotes I feel as through I need to step in and speak on behalf of both these great women. 1st off......UMMM HELLOOOO!!!! Do you really think Gaga wants to be anything like Britney Spears?! Yes, Gaga has admitted to still idolizing Spears, dying to do a duet with her, and having Britney posters on her wall. BUT she is a totally different type of performer. I think maybe Gaga just wants to hang with Brit is because she think if they put both their absolutely INSANE brains together they will come out the the masterpieces of all masterpieces. I believe this to be true too. ANDDDDD another though for all of you "she ain't no Britney" peeps, well obvi. Gaga came out, skipped all the good girl motions as we usually see girls go through and she just came out straight up crazy. And is great! She is absolutely hilarious. If you actually listen to her lyrics and get the wonderful dark humor that lays inside of her songs, you will see her completely differently. She follows no one and makes her own rules as she goes. Her main thing is to let others be able to release their inner freak without being ashamed.

Enough nonsense, let's get to the good stuff! (this portion is X rated so those under 18 please do not read) Thanks dolls!

The video begins with Gaga getting her ass thrown in jail and they strip her down and say "told ya she don't have a dick." Then Gaga appears in the recreational area outside with the other inmates and makes out with this other girl for a good while. The scene is completely unnecessary but Gaga always says how much she loves women so I'm sure she just threw this in there for her benefits. Now we are back inside at a fight scene where she has diet coke cans in her hair and they announce Beyonce is calling for Gaga so she gets on the payphone(man, I love payphones), and starts to sing. Then she does a whole dance scene down the jail cell with like 5 other girls all decked out in there bra's and thongs. She looks soooo much like Madonna circa the '80's in this video it's crazy. The real dark brows with the short blonde hair. It's awesome. Then Honey B bails her ass out. Gaga comes out wearing a fabulous getup with a darling hat and pink hair. The best part of the scene is the jail attendant letting her out but they show what website is in on twice which is a dating site for chicks called Fish Lovers, I believe. They have blurred it out since Thursday night. The video was a little more naughty Thursday. She jumps in the van with Honey B and is told that she has been a "very very bad girl". Honey B is eating a honey bun and gives Gaga a bite, which she takes like a dog that hasn't seen food in a while. Then throws the remainder out the window. The dialogue in the next 30 seconds is probably some of the best, humerus, dark, pure crazy, things only I believe Gaga would write. She asks Honey B if she wants to go through with this and she says yes then Gaga says "Well you know once you kill a cow, you gotta make a burger." Gaga looks over at B and looks at her after she says this with a priceless facial expression. Then Honey B comments back to Gaga saying "Trust is like a mirror. You can fix it if it's broke." Then Gaga states "But you can still see the crack in the motherfucking reflection." Honey B looks strangely at Gaga then breaks into her solo.

Then we arrive at the small diner on the side of the road. Honey B sits down with her boy toy Tyrese. They speak and it is also translated into captions because it does begin to get a bit loud. When he isn't looking she adds a small bottle of poison to his coffee. (CLASSIC GAGA VIDEO MOVE) Then we just to my favorite part. The bridge of the song. Gaga is in the kitchen, with her backup dancers, of the diner whipping up some sandwiches. She has a magnificent phone headpiece and is dressed in a thick rubber which you can see her nipples through and a white apron. The brand Wonderbread is shown a lot. Gaga is flawless in this scene and if you are used to her videos she is making funny faces and insane gestures as she dances in the kitchen that we are used to. Then we get to my favorite part!!! They quickly do a shot of Beyonce and show Tyrese coughing. A flash appears and Gaga gets the great idea to make a batch of poisonous breakfast food. She walks out and serves the food and as Tyrese chokes to death, Honey B says "I knew you would take all my honey you selfish motherfucker". Everyone in the diner is poisoned and the corpse lay everywhere just as Honey B and Gaga begin a huge dance scene in the diner with those that survived. Gaga and Honey B are dressed in a wonder woman gladiator theme. Done up in American flags. They flee the scene and hop into the Pussy Wagon truck. Flashes of them dancing outside of it show as the video comes to an end. A new flash appears letting us know that both ladies are fleeing from the massive homicide they committed earlier and they drive far far away from the crime scene. THE END!

If you are wildly confused, don't fret. I'm very good at figuring out and explaining these impressions that are trying to be made and their everlasting impact on the pop culture world. They are many many hidden meanings in this artistic piece just like they're are behind my favorite "Paparazzi."

Now I read a blog yesterday where the video was actually dissected and showed what heavy significance they video wold play on American society. I found this person to be a little strange. It's a music video to a song called Telephone! Yeah it's fun and cool but long lasting significance on American Society? I don't think so. It will probably be forgotten as Lady Gaga's musical career advances. The only thing I see of any significance is the glamorization of Jail and the inmates and the glamorization of murder and death. (which have boths been used many times before). The all American diner carries a small significance in this story as it shows real life in a small town and I believe the red, white, and blue costumes at the end sum up "only in America." The only point that I have made that I am going to further investigate is the usage of poison(s) in Lady Gaga videos. In the past 3 videos she has killed off her lovers(in this case she killed of her friends lover). I love this and I think it stands for feminine power. Just because this video is 10 minutes long does not mean that it has more significance that "Paparazzi", or "Bad Romance." maybe I'll examine those next but for now we are all done! If you have any questions or just love the video, please leave your support! This is official the longest blog I ever wrote.

Ready For Those Flashing Lights

I'm doing some major cleaning at my parents house in my storage room. I'm not the girl too keep things and I regularly clean out my closet and possessions every three months and take them to the goodwill or if the piece was designer and gorgeous, I will sell on ebay. So last night I decided what a better night then tonight to start cleaning the storage room. I didn't get far at all because one of the 1st bags I picked up was filled with photographs. I tried to put it aside and not too look but it was just such an exciting find, I just had too.

Well let's just put this out there plain and simple. I have been a posing diva since I basically knew what a camera was. I didn't think I was that bad until I got to college(we'll get into that in a minute) but as I am going through old photos I noticed I was even rocking out my good side at three. Funny yes.....but normal, no! I am an only child as most of you know so it was always all about me. Not only did I know how to pose but I was actually a true little diva. Beginning ballet at 3 and figure skating at 6.....I was always the best in my field. Even while standing at the top of the podium, all my flowers were strategically placed in my arms and I am slightly turned to my right so I could do my best "head towards the left shoulder". This pose is also often used till this day. I also knew my best features from a very young age. The long legs were always extended and pointed and my butt was always made to look even more adorable in photos. I continued this professional posing and all eyes on me up until I left for college.....or so I thought. But the best was actually to come.

My best friend is pretty much a replica of me. We are both only children(she has step bro's and sis' but she was definitely raised as an only). Our mothers did everything for us. And we thought we were the cats' meow. This is one of the reasons I think we decided to be bff's. (And don't worry we still are. Soulmate Diva's). Our sophomore year of college we should have just been at modeling camp. For an entire 9 months, instead of trying to pursue school work, we worked on our best sides. Everynight we took photos. Everynight we would say to eachother "we look soo hot tonight it's just like not even funny." Were we serious? Yes. Do we still say that to eachother today. Yes. Nothing is wrong with self admiration. If everyone thought like this there wouldn't be so many issues with body image. We are not though, by any means conceded so I don't want you to get the wrong idea. Both of us are probably two of the nicest people you will ever meet. We just adored posing. We also frequently talk about the paparazzi like we run into them often. Let's just put it this way. We know how to rock the pose and dream of walking down the red carpet.

Now since I went to preforming arts middle and high school, I also thought knowing your best side and how to look best in a photo was normal knowledge. EVERYONE loved themselves and totally know their best sides and positions. So what I was wondering is......is this normal activity for everyone know since the world has turned into such a photographic place? Or does this start when you, maybe perhaps you're born with the gene, and stays with you the rest of your life?

Above is a photo of me at 3. I am posing in the mirror, checking myself out, while my dad took a photograph behind me. Seems cute huh? Ohh it is but if you look closely in my eyes you can totally see the demons of my soul, thinking and knowing "damn I look hot!" hahaha. BTW-please ignore my horrid turnout! Eww!

Peace & Paparazzi

-I would adore your feedback to know if this is a normal act or not. Thanks dolls!

I think I'll try...Defying gravity...And you can't pull me down

Hello my darling fans! I am home from NYC and have lots to tell you. Just to begin, 1st off, no I did not make season 7 of SYTYCD. I was cut after the 4th round but it was a delightful experience that I will go into later.

Sunday afternoon I dropped my baggage off and walked straight to Radio City where Lady Gaga was to perform later on that night. Just as I suspected, there were a good handful of scalpers. I had planned this little event in my head since I knew she would be there while I was and being a huge fan and loving the theatrical feel she gives to her performances I just knew I couldn't miss this. So I'm standing there in the doorway of the subway entrance with my guy and I got him down to $100 for a pretty good seat from what I could tell. And then out of no where I grew up a little. I gave him the ticket back and said I'm sorry sir but I just can't. And in a good old NYC way the guy told me to "fuck off you little bitch don't come around here wasting my time bitch" as I walked away. Now see when I auditioned for a little show called American Idol back in it's prime, I was 21. I made it to the top 100 in NYC and the final round I sang for Simon, Paula, and Randy. But you see I had made really good friends with two guys that worked for MTV and it was the week of the VMA's. My final aud. was on Friday but I was invited and given a ticked to go with my two new friends to Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera's VMA after party at the Roseland. Now at 21, this was wayyyy more important than my career obviously. So I went, mingled with a ton of awesome musicians and sent myself home at 3am. Slept for a couple hours and went to the Waldof Astoria and was not in prime condition. Did I make it to Hollywood......no. If I would have stayed in and rehearsed......yes I very well may have. Point in case here is that I decided to get a good nights sleep this time around for this open call.

Monday was HORRIBLE! I stood in the freezing cold rain, drenched to the bone for a good 3 hours, got in the theatre around 9:30/10, and didn't go on until 7pm!!!! Talk about tired!!! I think the whole production team had gone to Gaga the night before because Bad Romance was on repeat for us to improv to. I did great through and got sent through to the next round. Tuesday same shit different producers. Danced from 8 to around 4, did all the cheesy interviews they make you do, and got cut on the 4th round. I was told my contemporary wasn't strong enough and to work on it and come back later this year or next. It was a really fun audition and cool cause we got to watch everyone. Amazing male dancers!!!! Amazing! I was not disappointed but for maybe 5 minutes then was over it. Like I had stated before I had left......I don't want to have to do a reality show but I want a job out of it. And I still have tons of faith I'll get a great dancing job that I'll love. So practice, practice, practice! BTW everyone fails and it's those who keep going back and trying again are those who succeed. Never give up people <3.

Tuesday night I went to see Wicked. LOVED it! Definitely in my top 5!!! I can't get it out of my head! What's you're favorite musical? I'm still dying to see Lion King. I'm going to see "In the Heights" next week here in pgh. Soo excited!

After Wicked it was like almost 11 I think and I was in such a good mood so I decided to go get a glass of champagne at my old place of employment, Hotel Gansevoort. So I'm sitting at the bar drinking and I was like getting drunk(prob cause I totally forgot to eat that day and I was running on no sleep.) I looked around and who did I see, only a cast member from my favorite show Glee, Chris Colfer aka Kurt!!! So I said f it and went and said hi and sat down. We had an absolute blast. It was just me, Chris, and his agent. Then we moved from the rooftop to another bar in the hotel. And the rest is blurry hahaha. I was doing Britney Spears dances for them of course.

Then it was time to go home. Eww! I hoped on the subway and went to Chinatown before I left to pick up some fake good. I totally scored big time! And bought a couple gifts for my darling girlfriends and cousins. And well that's that kids. I peaced out and went to the airport. I really miss NYC and living there. It's just soo fun and energetic to walk outside at midnight and the streets are packed and the lights are bright and you feel like you can do anything. I'm sure everyone feels the same when they go there or have lived there. I'm not looking to move back though. I am looking into moving to LA for Pilot season maybe??? We'll see!

Alright there......longgggg blog hahahaha! Always keep dreaming and never give up! You only live once so do what makes you happy! No matter what it may be!

Peace & Love

you turn every head but you don't see me

Short and sweet just wanted to say hi and hope everyone is well. Vamos RAFA!!!! Kicking some ass in the Australian Open! I'm off to nyc for the week to cause some trouble myself and hopefully kick some ass as well. I love the energy performers feed off of eachother. I can't wait to be around that again. I probably won't want to come home. Glad to be leaving after all the events that occurred and made me very sad this week. Trying to lift my spirits but last night I made a death mix. Totally made me cry all night. Set Fire to the Third Bar, Trouble, Hallellujah, Everybody Hurts, Something in the Way, Wonderwall(ryan adams version), Talk Show Host, and Strange and Beautiful. It's an awesom mix with amazing artists so if you feel like making a downer mix, I give this one props.

Well I'm going to try to get some shitty seats from a scalper for under $200 to go see lady gaga tomorrow night. She give me soo much energy and thats exactly what I need to start off my week. Lots of classes at my favorite studio-Broadway Dance Center, and being happy. Soooo Peace out loves and the blog will be back to normal when I return I promise. No more of this journal writing style stuff.

Treat yourself to something you love this week. I know I am.

Work it, Bitch!

I'm absolutely thrilled I have a minute to sit down and write. I utterly exhausted from dancing all day but it's good exhaustion. I'm soo happy to be back at doing what I love and what I know. I gave this up for a few years and I was miserable. I didn't give it up because I quit, I gave it up because I was very depressed and couldn't focus on something so important. Well I'm back and better than ever(minus my right développé which isn't quite up to my ear yet so I'm mad but I'll prob sit here all night and make it be!). I'm going to nyc on Sunday for a few days of auditions(aka my vaca from the blog). Super excited! And then I just found a few other things that I want to audition for, if I happen to not get a job next week, in Feb! Dancing is like the best high I can get. We'll actually performing is the best high I think you can ever get. All that energy you have waiting in the wings to go out on stage and then just tearin' it up, its fucking amazing!

So here's what it's all about. What the hell do you want to do? There are soo many amazing things to do with dance besides teaching, which everyone knows I hate but I did do it for 3 years. Just think about NYC, LA, and Vegas alone how many dancers are needed a year. Broadway, off Broadway, Tour back up dancers, Show dancers, Dancers on tv shows, and the list goes on and on. It's crazy!!! And I bet if you looked into it you could find that your passion is out there too but you just have to say "fuck it" and get out there! Life's short. All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them-Disney. I finally feel again as if I were 21 and all I wanted was to drop out of school and go to nyc! There is NO need for me to ever go back to a cube. And if I can do this, you guys can do this too! I promise!!! Last year at this exact time I was probably in DBT class locked up in Cope. Dreams do and can come true. One of mine has already and that was to be happy so I think this next one should be a piece of cake. And no matter what.......NEVER GIVE UP! And don't EVER SETTLE.

Now there is one person who has a dream but I don't really see it happening. Ms. Heidi Montag has recently stated that her dream is to be a pop star. Wow Heidi that's one of my dream to but I know I don't have the vocals. You sing like me......just ok. It's not good enough. And PLEASE never say you want to be like Britney Spears. You will NEVER be like Britney. Britney, for one thing, is all natural. Unlike you who had 15 plastic surgeries and look non human. Secondly Britney Spears is a pop icon and has been since she was 17. And bitch can perform like there is no tomorrow. So just please don't ever say that you could even compete with Brit because you are like cement on the ground compared to her. Ok sorry just had to get that out of my system.

And really though......don't we all grow up and dream of being rock stars. I know I did. I'm not ashamed. It's hands down the best job in the world. Anyone disagree?

So like my other blogs this has turned into a bunch of rambling. I really need to stop following Courtney Love on Twitter. I think that's where I am getting this shit. Anyways go after your dreams no matter what! I got your back!

Peace, Love, & DREAMS

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.

It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else.

The World is a Vampire

This is going to sound more like a journal entry then a put together blog but I want to give you guys something since I have not written since Monday or Tuesday. I am so so sooo sorry for that but in all truthfulness, I have just had a very uneventful not too great week. It snowed everyday and the only time I got out, besides today, was on Tuesday to go to the doctors to get more bad news about my back. I'm sure I've told you this but I have two raised disks and bad scoliosis from when I was younger. Enough about that though because I do not feel like talking about it because I am very mad about it right now.

Other than that I have just been dancing twice a day and making sure I warm up properly so I don't tear anything. Everything is coming along great and I have a really great feeling about my auditions.

Tonight I visited Cope for the 1st time since I was discharged last March. I am not "technically" aloud to visit until March but I said fuck it and went to see one of my very very good girlfriends that is back in. It was sooo great seeing her and everyone else (nurses, RT's, other fellow patients). So since nobody said anything I am going to get to visit her all the time!!! Very exciting. I was sooo happy to be able to leave though at the end. I forgot how awful it is to have all of your freedom taken away and be locked up. It makes me that much more grateful for the tiny things in life we tend to neglect such as driving, taking a walk, and to go to bed whenever you please.

I really missed my sorority sisters this week. Probably cause I was snowed in so I had a ton of time to think and just wish we all lived closer. I am soo blessed to have such wonderful people in my life. I also don't really like this being single thing by any means. I was trying it out and I'm bored and over it. I like to be dating someone.....I guess there is nothing wrong with that. I love being excited and all that lovey dovey crap. I can't help it. So I will still say....I DO NOT want to get married anytime soon, I will say if the right person comes along this year I'm not going to push them away this year just because I wanted this year to be all about me. I'm much happier when I have someone else to love and care about. So if anyone knows any perfect guys for me let me know!!!

Hope your weeks went well and you are all grateful for the things that you have in your life and thankful for the love that you have at the end of the day. Tell those you love that you love them daily and never neglect. P.S. That is a really awesome pic of Kate Moss and Courtney Love above at an event years ago.

Peace & Love,

S

*I have an awesome music piece I am working on which is coming along slowly. I got the idea last month when I was going through Rolling Stone's 500 Best Albums. If you get a chance, go look at that. It's really cool.

You Are What I Never Knew I Always Wanted

Here are just a few random questions I had answered in May(2 months into my recovery.) I just found them and I think they are a pretty encouraging and strong for the state I was at. I hope some of them can help you and if you have any questions you know, I'm just message away!
1. Okay let’s just start off with I’ve been through a lot of shit and w/out it all…..good and bad………I wouldn’t be the person I am today.

2. Dancing is my therapy. I would be dead without dancing. It’s just something that my spirit has to do.

3. I don't plan or ever plan on planning out my life. I like to live spontaneously just day by day. I love having the courage to just pick up a suitcase and take off for a few weeks. I believe in living fully and just feeling free and liberated. I hate being under any restraints.

4. I’m 5’5’’ and 108 and am IN LOVE with my body and am soo happy to be able to say that! I think it’s soo beautiful. If I could walk around in underwear and a bra I totally would!

5. My absolute favorite thing in the entire world is to sing and dance. It’s the greatest high in the world for me.

6. I have a highly addictive personalty and have gone through times where this has actually gotten me into trouble and is also something I struggle with everyday. It get’s easier with time.

7. I like to drink my coffee at night.

8. I’ve met some of the most amazing people in my life. Some of them in bad situations, others in good. They all made a marking on my soul.

9. My favorite sports figure is Rafael Nadal. He’s the #1 tennis player in the world and is drop dead gorgeous on top of it. Vamos Rafa!!!

10. There are a lot of shallow people in the world and they can make up rumors and assumptions and they will haunt you. I just now got thicker skin and learned to cope with it. A lot of people talk and have NO IDEA what it's like to walk in my shoes. But I am a strong girl and I have a lot of strong friends by my side.

11. I love Kurt Cobain and what he brought to this world artistically. I am still enormously intrigued by him. He and Britney are the only people I can say I have been actually obsessive about. I just wanna learn everything!

12. My sorority sisters, and I know this sounds soo cliche, but I don't know where I'd be without them. It's like they breathe for me when I can no longer breathe.

13. I know the choreography for EVERY Britney Spears video and concert performances. Literally.

14. I adore animals and cannot stand animal cruelty. Breaks my heart in half. I am a proud member of PETA.

15. I'm a hopeless romantic and believe in love stories, fairytales, soulmates, and so on. Nothing makes me happier than being in love.

16. I figure skated for 7 years. And after that I took up dancing full time and was studying to become a ballerina.

17. I read and listen to music at all times. A few of my favorites are Eminem's Relapse, Taylor Swift, Radiohead, Nirvana, Lady GaGa,

18. I failed my driver’s license test 6 or 7 times. Hahahaha

19. I lived in NYC after college and the second place I lived I had to share a bed with Alia for 1,100 a month. You soo get nothing for your money there but it is totally worth it.

20. I think I was a European(in Barcelona, Spain haha) in my previous life. I really don’t believe in this fast paced American living thing that we have going on. If you look at other countries life is more laid back and enjoyed.

21. Michelle and Aaron are my sister and brother.

22. I miss Tera and wish she lived closer. We have a crazy kind of friendship that will never die. She’s the love of my life.

23. 4 inch stilettos are my favorite. I like to be 5’9’’.

24. I’m a pretty cool girl. And I love to make people laugh.

25. I go through life like a karate kid. -BS

Peace and Love
